I tried to run as fast as I could but I can't. Its almost 5 degrees and I am wearing nothing but a muscle tee still searching for Luke, I feel tired but I remembered him asking me to watch their gig which I don't know where unfortunately I also don't have his number. I shivered as the cold send chills down my spine. I felt hopeless but I stopped crying but I can feel that I still look like a wreck.
Just when I was to return home I stepped on a piece of paper. I awkwardly took it, my eyes widened it was a flier, a flier for Luke's band gig.
*LUKE'S P.O.V*
"You okay, bro?" Calum asked as he attached his bass to the amplifier,
"I don't know, Cal. I'm literally back to square one with no hope finding my way to square two" I answered plainly.
Michael came into the stage, " Aw fuck! how I missed doing these free shows"
"I know, it feels like its been forever" Ashton exclaimed as he fix his drum kit, agreeing to what Michael just said.
I sighed,
"Aw cheer up Luke. sooner or later Myle or Avery will totes come by" Helen exclaimed patting my shoulder.
thanks to Ronnie, Helen and Ella they talked to the manager of this place called Toxic Vodka I know this is where they used to perform their shows but this is actually my first time being here. I remember Myle singing here on this stage not too long ago.
"They're on in 5, Helen! come down from that stage" Ronnie ordered.
Before I know it the lights started flickering signaling us that we can start the show now.
The crowd started to shout our names which was totally bizzare and I really missed this. Being in front of these lovely people singing for them and making them happy even though I am not.
"Hey guys!!!!" Calum yelled,
"Good evening" I stated.
"Were 5 Seconds of Summer, for those pretty faces who doesn't know" Ashton winked,
"Ok..so w-were gonna start singing our original composed songs" Calum added.
"I hope you guys enjoy your night" I exclaimed trying to plaster a smile on my face.
"Michael wrote this song" Calum started,
"Yeah I did but I dedicate it to two of my friends which I will not tell who they are but whatever!" Michael replied,
Before the two of them waste more of our time I signalled Ashton to start. I'm really not in the mood so I want to finish this and just go fucking home.
It took Michael by surprised but started singing.
"Don't talk let me think it over, how we gonna fix this.. how we gonna undo all the pain, tell me is it even worth it? looking for a straight line, taking back the time we can't replace"
I started singing, "All the crossed wires just making us tired...is it too late to bring us back to life?"
"When I close my eyes and try to sleep I fall apart I find it hard to breathe..you're the reason the only reason, even though my dizzy head is numb I swear my heart is never giving up..you're the reason the only reason."
"I feel you burning under my skin. I swear I see you shinning, brighter than the flame inside your eyes" Calum sang,
"Bitter words spoken, everything's broken it's never too late to bring us back to life" Ashton second,
"When I close my eyes and try to sleep I fall apart I find it hard to breathe..you're the reason the only reason, even though my dizzy head is numb I swear my heart is never giving up..you're the reason the only reason."
oh oh oh only reason the only reason..
"Don't talk..let me think it over, how we gonna fix this..how we gonna undo all the pain" Michael started again,
"When I close my eyes and try to sleep I fall apart I find it hard to breathe..you're the reason the only reason, even though my dizzy head is numb I swear my heart is never giving up..you're the reason the only reason." I ended the song with the last strum of my guitar, I stare at the crowd and saw a familiar light brown orbs.
