A new start

Serena POV

"Braixen? Pancham? Sylveon? Where are you guys, we need to go! Our plane is due soon!" Today is the day we forget about it all. Forget about hoenn. What good has it done? You don't have ash and miette decided she wanted to explore hoenn too so there's no point in you being there. I wonder where he is now. What region?
*pancham, braixen and sylveon walk in*
"There you guys are! Now, are you ready?"
"Braixen brai! Panch! Sylve!"
"Good! I haven't told you where we are going yet have I?"
"Sylveo?"
"Well sylveon, the reason I told you all to buy summer things while we were exploring is because.........we are going to alola!!"
"Pancham! Braixen! Sylveon!"
"Your all as excited as I am! Now, let's go!"

Ash POV

Its been two months in alola, I've met some friends but something doesn't feel right. I feel....empty. Like something's missing. But what? I have pikachu and my Pokemon! Do I miss clemont? Or maybe Bonnie? Or even.....serena.... Oh man, I miss them all. Still, i always feel like that after I part ways with old friends but this time it's way worse. Maybe I got too attached? Possibly. "Pika pi!" I look down and pikachu is gazing at me worryingly. "Hey buddy, what's wrong." I hear distant voices and plates clutter. "More like what's wrong with you!!" It's lillie, wait. Where am I?! "Hey is ash ok?" Mallow walks over too. "Ash what's wrong?!" Lana too. "Uh I'm fine, sorry, I was just daydreaming that's all..."
"Come on, maybe a nice alola region stew will help you feel better!" Mallows not really the BEST cook but hey ho I'm starving. It can't be that bad right?"
"Dinner is served!" She puts a bowl of purple soup on the table. It smells weird but never judge a book by its cover! *ash takes a mouthful* ...unless it's mallows cooking... "Eghhhh" I gag and everyone looks at me doing the same. "Ash what's wrong?" Mallow looks sad, well, at least she tried. "Um, next time, leave the cooking to lana will you?"
"Hey who said I could cook?"
"Well you must be able to do something!" Actually, I can't really say much. I can't even boil rice never mind make a decent 'alola' soup.
"Well I'll try. Just wait a minute il, whip up something..."
We all go sit down on the couches in the corner of the room. I suddenly start daydreaming again. Of them.

Serena POV

*on plane* "sylveon! Look out the window! It's alola!"
"Sylve..." The man at the door said I could take one Pokemon on the plane with me so we did coconut crack, sylveon obviously won because she used her ribbons as hands, still though, pancham was too scared and I promised Braixen that she can sit with me on the way back. "Woah I think we are landing! Sylveon put on your seatbelt! We don't want you to fall!" Sylveon puts one of her ribbons tightly around my chest, she's never been on a plane before, she must be scared. We step out onto the stairs. "Hello alola region!!" Everyone looks at me and giggles. "Wow sylveon! Look at all the Pokemon! There's so many that we haven't seen before!" We walk off and collect our bags. I get pancham and Braixen out and we set off on our journey. Alola here I come.
