Ash X serena // one-shots // alola

1st period

ASH POV

Science. The God of all boredom. I look over to the other side of the table (where Serena is sat) and peek at her work. She notices and giggles.

"Ash come on, really?" She whispers while smirking at me.

"I don't understand what to do... Not my fault"

"Ash. It's the date and title. It's on the board." She laughs.

Mr oleo hears her and comes storming over, "if you have something to say, say it infront of the whole class."

She sits up while pouting, "I was laughi-"

"NO BACKCHAT!" He storms back to his seat and plonks himself down.

Serena turns to face me and rolls her eyes, I giggle back at her.

"So," mr oleo gets up, "biology"

The whole class moans in boredom.

"Don't be so down!" He cheers with the most fake smile I have ever seen, "biology is fun!"

A few snorts and mimics were heard across the classroom in perfect sync.

"I can see that some of you disagree..." He sighs.

One girl with blue hair turns around to face the front, "who even are you? Like, I'm not being rude, it's just that I haven't seen you here before."

"I'm sorry what's your name?"

"Dawn." She mutters.

"Well, dawn, I'm new here and I'm from Alaska." He merrily says.

"And you came to Alola why...." Serena says shocked.

No surprise really. Alaska, so I've heard, is very cold and torrential, surely he can't be used to this weather... Alaska is in America. No one ever goes to America. Everyone was facinated by the fact that he was from another district. You see, in this world we have districts, ours is the 'Pokemon district' because we are the only district that happens to have Pokemon. Then there is the 'Asia district' people say they are very unusual, they do rituals and they dance with colourful clothes! Also the 'European district' including: United Kingdom, France, Germany etc. And last but not least, the 'Mirai nikki district'
(I'll be impressed by whoever knows what it is) it's very brutal there. No one ever goes, no one ever leaves.

"Sir," I say sitting up, "do you really not have Pokemon?"

"We had animals but we didn't have the technology to turn them into Pokemon."

"What's and animal?" A girl with a red bandana and brown hair grabs out her note pad jotting things down.

"An animal is a bit like a Pokemon except you don't catch them, nor battle them, they are simply friends for life and you get them by becoming friends with them!"

"Woah" the whole class says in sync.

"Hey ash!" Serena leans over whispering, "it's my dream to travel all the districts!"

"Really?" I say leaning over too, "but what about the 'Mirai nikki district'? It's dangerous, you'll be put in a game."

"There's a way for tourists to look around! I've looked it up!"

"Oh. Right." I say sitting back, "well in that case I'll come with you!"

"Ok!" She sits back too.

Fast forward...

Time goes by and the bell rings...

Ring ring ring ring

Off to 2nd period we go.
