'What's taking Boris so long?' Wonder a Inklet demon who was looking at a map inside a hotel room. He dress in a mechanic's outfit and had a pair of goggles on his forehead. As soon as he got up to go look for Boris, the room's door open, and Boris walked into the room with the Elric brothers. "Who are these two Boris?" Asked the demon. "The name's Edward Elric and this is my brother Alphonse." Edward introduce himself and his brother. "You must be Bendy then?" He questioned. Bendy was about the height as Edward. "What is it to you?" Bendy asked bluntly. "Honestly, it doesn't matter, but what you two after is." Edward replied. Bendy raised an eyebrow. "Then that brings up two questions. First why does the military care about what we are after and second why should I tell you?" Questioned Bendy. Both Boris and Alphonse were worried that Bendy and Edward were about to fight each other, but they were shocked by Edward's response. "To answer your first question, the military doesn't care. This is a personal matter. For the second question, you're right. You don't have to tell me, but I'm willing to tell our story if you tell me your story." Bendy chuckled by these answers then asked "Why would you do that?" "Most Alchemists believe in this law, Equivalent Exchange. What it means is, to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. So to get your story, I'm willing to tell you mine Bendy." Edward explain. Bendy thought about it for a while and once he came to a conclusion he said, "You first though." "Al, take off your helmet." Edward told Alphonse as he took off his cloak and shirt to reveal his Auto-mail arm. Alphonse hesitated at first, but he did take off his helmet to reveal that his armor was empty. Both Bendy and Boris were shocked by this. "What happen to you two?" Asked Boris. "Human transmutation." that was Edward's only words. "We tried to resurrect our dead mother and failed." Alphonse clarified. "We are looking for the Philosopher's Stone in hope that we can use it to restore our bodies." Edward added. "That would explain why you two are in Lior." Said Bendy without thinking. "What?" Questioned Edward. "I read about a Celestial Stone that wiped out the City of Xerxes in one of Felix's books." answered Bendy. "Wait! You read Felix's books too?!" Said Edward as he let his inner fanboy out. "You bet!" Replied Bendy also letting his inner fanboy out. As both Edward and Bendy were "Fanboying", both Alphonse and Boris sighed in annoyance. "So what's your story?" Alphonse asked as he place his helmet back on. "Well, we are looking for the pieces for the Ink Machine. My brother has the Inkness and hopefully we can find all the pieces before he dies." Answered Boris. Alphonse was shocked by this. "You don't mean the deadly Ink Illness right?" Questioned Alphonse. "Unfortunately, that's exactly what I'm talking about." Boris replied grimly. "What brought you two to Lior?" Asked Alphonse. "We have a map that guided us here. However me and my brother can only see it for some reason." Answered Boris. Alphonse looked at the table and saw a blank piece of paper on top of it. "You mean this?" asked Al as he pick it up. Boris nodded. The map caught Edward's eye and asked "What's the map for?" Both Bendy and Boris were completely blown away by this. "How?!" they both shouted. "Hey! No need to shout." Stated Edward as he cleared out his ear. "Also what do you mean?" Questioned Edward. Alphonse looked at the map again, but it still look like a blank piece of paper. "All I see is a blank piece of paper Ed." Stated Alphonse. Edward was confused by this and at the same time wasn't surprised. "Who gave the map to you two?" Asked Edward as he put his shirt and cloak back on. "An Inklet angel did." answered Boris. "That would explain it then. I heard rumors that a small number of Inklets can use magic, but not full out wizard magic. That would explain why not many people can see your map." Stated Edward. "But that doesn't explain why you can see it." Added Bendy. "True." Replied Edward. 'Maybe it's because I have seen the Truth.' Edward thought to himself. "By the way have you heard about this Father Cornello guy?" Asked Edward. Bendy nodded. "I heard that he can raised the dead, but I doubt that's true." Bendy added. "I agree with you on that. The dead don't come back." Replied Edward. "I also heard rumors that he has a piece of the Ink Machine, but I need to see that for myself." Stated Bendy as he crossed his arms. "I also need to see his 'miracles' for myself." Edward added.
