Fullmetal Alchemist: The Secrets of the Stone

Chapter 13

Opening Notes: Sorry for the non-originality in the beginning, but I promise that it will become more original as the chapter progresses. I'll try my BEST to keep the story original. However if I need to use the story from FMA: Brotherhood or Quest for the Ink Machine, I will. Hopefully you can respect that. Now on with the story.

Last Time: As a last resort, Basque transmuted a large container around the scarred man, imprisoning him. "That wasn't so difficult." Stated Basque walked up to the container. Suddenly, one of the wall was destroyed and the scarred man grab Basque's face. "Now you perish!" Stated the scarred man as Basque inside were destroyed.

"Another State Alchemist dead." Stated Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes as he lifted up the plastic sheet off of Basque's dead body. "Watch yourself Major. For all we know, you'll be the next one he'll come after." Hughes told Alex Armstrong. He nodded as he said "Understood." That's when the Further walked up and all of the Solders saluted him. "Further Bradley, Your Excellency! What brings you here?" asked Hughes. "I got word of what happen." He explained as he walked up to Grand's dead body. After a few moments, Further Bradley asked "

Lieutenant Colonel, are you the one in charge of this case?" "Yes sir." Replied Hughes. "If you need any additional personnel, just ask. This man is a traitor and I want him stopped." Stated Further Bradley. "Yes Sir." Replied Hughes.

(At Colonel Roy Mustang's Office)

As Lt. Riza Hawkeye, Sergeant Nora Hawkeye (who's Riza's adopted daughter and a raptor Inklet), Lt. Jean Havoc, Warrant Officer Vato Falman, Sergeant Master Kain Fuery, and Lt. Heymans Breda worked on their own assignments,  both the Elrics and Cromwells walked in. Nora looked up as they walked in and said with a warm smile "Welcome back Ed and Al." 'That raptor girl is hot. Although, I should make my move on her after me and Boris talk to this Roy Mustang.' Bendy thought to himself with a sly grin. "Thanks Nora. Have you told Roy Mustang about the Cromwells?" Asked Edward. She nodded as Riza said "He's waiting for the four of you." Edward nodded as he, Alphonse, Bendy, and Boris headed into Roy's office.

(After explaining what happened in Lior to Roy)

"Well done Elrics for resolving the matter in Lior and thank you Bendy and Boris for assisting." Stated Roy. "Whatever." Replied both Bendy and Edward. "So the Philosopher's Stone, another false lead?" Asked Roy. Edward nodded. "After all of that, it turned out the stone was a fake." Stated Edward. "However the power that it gave Cornello was real enough. He did managed to create two large Chimeras." Added Boris. "I wonder how he was able to use the Stone to do that. I don't know enough of biological alchemy to understand it." Stated Alphonse. "Maybe you two should look into it. Possibly it could help you guys restore your bodies." Suggested Bendy. Roy snickered before asking "So are the Cromwells helping you guys now?" "In return we help them find the pieces of the Ink Machine." Clarified Ed. Roy was shocked by this and yet not surprised. "You are aware that you'll be on another wild goose chase, since no one knows where the pieces are, right?" Asked Roy. "That's not entirely the case Colonel. Me and my brother are in possession of a map that only a few people can see." Answered Bendy. "Really?" Questioned Roy. Bendy nodded. "I'll take your word on that. Now I can introduce you four to a biological alchemist named Clinton Meyers." Stated Roy as he went into his desk to grab a file from his desk. "He thought Shou Tucker and many other biological alchemy their field." Add Roy. Edward and Alphonse cringed once they heard that name as they were reminded of what he had done. 'I hope Clinton isn't like him.' Edward bitterly thought to himself.
