Chapter 16

"Are you sure that you will be fine on the couch?" Bekkah asked Techton.  "It's better than a cave floor." Techton joked as Hazel walked past them in her pjs towards her room. As she entered the room she looked her cat plushie, Whisper. As soon she found Whisper, she crawled into her bed with the cat and fell asleep.

Hazel found herself in a run down village along side a Inklet wolf that she had affection towards. The wolf was talking to her as if he was a close friend. Suddenly the power to the village went out as she and the wolf felt a chill went down their spines. "One of them is here." The wolf stated out loud as he started to bolt towards the woods that was nearby. Hazel followed him as she asked "Who's here?" The wolf didn't answered as he continue towards the woods in the pitch black night. As they got deeper into the woods, the chill had gotten worse, and the two started to hear a battle going on. 'What the heck is going on?' Hazel wondered to herself as she continue to follow the wolf. Suddenly the woods was set on fire. This made the two quicken their pace as the wolf said "I got to find my brother." Without even knowing this Hazel replied "Last time that I saw him, he was with my father." The wolf nodded as they continue their search. Suddenly Hazel saw her father, Cuphead and two shadowly figures.  One had multiple eyes and mouths while the other was a monstrous dragon with glowing blood red eyes.  "I'm quite disappointed in you two. After all this time, your now abandoning us?" Questioned one of the shadows with the voice of a Demonic child. "What are you talking about?" Replied Cuphead. "Cut the bull crap dishwear! Your orders were prevent the Cromwells and the Elrics from repairing the Ink Machine. Not helping them!" Shouted the Demonic dragon. "And honestly, did you think that your employers wouldn't notice that you were planning to team up with Greed?" Asked the child. Cuphead grew pale in fear as he tried to come up with an explanation for them. "It's time for you to pay for your betrayal!" Shouted the two shadows as they use their shadows to slice through Cuphead. Hazel screamed in terror as she could nothing, but watch.

A few moments later, both Bekkah, whom is in her wolf form, and Cuphead come charging into the room ready to murder their daughter's assumed attacker. All they find is Hazel crying tears of sarrow and terror. Cuphead decharges his laser attack as he sits down near Hazel with Bekkah sitting next to him as he asked, "What's wrong Hazel?" Hazel struggled to find the words to explained what she had just experience. The nightmare that she just had felt too real to be even called a dream. As she struggled to describe what she saw, she told her father "I saw you die." "Sweetie, it was just a dream." Bekkah reassured. "I-it felt t-too real. Al-lmost as if i-it was a vision." Hazel said with a trembling voice. "What did you see?" Cuphead asked. Hazel explained what happen in her nightmare with extreme accuracy. Cuphead and Bekkah both look at each other with concern.
