A.N: Hey guys! I'm so sorry I had to make you guys wait so long. I had trouble when I wrote a update at 2:am and it contained many plot holes and far fetched reactions, so I rewrote the end of the last update and rewrote this entire entry. Thank you all for reading. (Smut coming soon, but not now) Enjoy!
Star woke up on the couch next day full of regret. She kept beating herself up about last night, rightfully so. She called for Marco from downstairs as to find a way to make it up to Marco and build trust between them once more. There was no response. "Marco?" She called again. No response. She checked Marco's room, and he wasn't there. She checked the time: "7:38 AM. He should be awake right now" Star said to herself. She decided it would be a bad idea to look too far into it, so she walked to school. Once she arrived at the college, she started to look for Marco. Star's train of thought led her to believe, if Marco wasn't home at this time, he would be at school. Sure enough, he was. "Knew it" Star said under her breath. "Marco!" She called out with a smile. Marco glanced over for a second, and snuck away. Star was worried. She knew Marco saw her, so what happened? She thought that maybe Marco just had to get to class, because class was about to start, but then she caught on. Marco was avoiding her! She frowned upon realizing the news. She loved Marco, and seeing him avoid her broke her heart. She HAD to make it up to him. Star thought of ways to make it up to him through 1st-3rd period, and decided at lunch. Every Friday, Marco would stay at the gym for an extended amount of time in order to stay fit. Star decided to throw an apology party for Marco in hope of forgiveness. She would've texted pony-head and the rest of the gang, but she wanted to do this by herself. But today was Wednesday, so there was waiting to do.
Thursday:
Star went to the store to get party supplies and decorations, as well as individual party letters that spell I-m--s-o-r-r-y. She would hang them up when Marco was out. She called everyone and told them about the party.Friday:
Star put up the decorations, and had around 2 hours to spare, so she got the idea to make a cake! Marco loves cake, so Star thought it would be a good way to apologize. The guests showed up around the time that the cake was finished. She checked the time on the wall. "30 minutes left guys!" Star remembered when Marco had to teach her how to tell earth time. Star told everyone to find a place they would hide when Marco got back, so everyone found the places they would jump out of. Some people hid behind plants, some hid behind the couch, while others in the kitchen. Star hoped it would work. She checked the time again "5 minutes!" Star yell whispered. She turned off the lights. Star knew it was a rough estimate, Marco had already left the gym, but he could get home faster or slower than before. People started to become impatient with Star as Marco didn't show up, but then they heard the sound of workout shoes tapping on concrete. It was clear as a sunny day since no other sound was being made, just the silence of impatient college students. The door clicked, and creeped open to reveal a sweaty teenage boy with a towel draped around his shoulder. Star turned the lights on, which took Marco aback. Everyone jumped out and star could swear Marco was about to fall back. He regained his balance and told everyone that it wasn't his birthday. But Star told him it wasn't a birthday party, but a friendship party. Star told Marco that she was sorry about what she did, and that she knew it was wrong. She also told Marco that she shouldn't have interfered with his relationship, and that she just should've let Marco be happy. Marco smiled warmly and replied "thank you so much Star, you don't know how much that means to me. I'd hug you if I wasn't covered in sweat. I'm going to wash up, but I'll be sure to join the party" Marco headed upstairs to take a shower. Star was extremely happy, her plan worked! She knew things would still be a little awkward, but at least Marco trusts her again. The party was short lived, because there were noise complaints from all around the neighborhood because extremely loud rave music was playing at 12:00. So the party only lasted about 45 minutes. Star and Marco still had a blast and went to bed after the party was crashed. Tomorrow truly would be a new day.
