Crush (Jonah Marais)

Chapter 1

Okay so just one more thing I have to explain, we arrived in LA way after the school year had started (it's September now) so my mum decided to home school me until the start of a new school year. So that means that tomorrow I'm officially starting a new school and it's my first day. I'm so nervous, I'm sure everything will be fine though.

*beep beep!*

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and jumped out of bed to brush my teeth. After I went down stairs to see my mum with a plate of pancakes drizzled in Nutella, I quickly ate them then headed upstairs, I showered and then threw on some skinny jeans and a crop hoodie and dried my hair quickly before dashing downstairs and out the door. School was pretty near by so I decided to walk as my mum was off to work.

I arrived at school having no idea where I was going, I then bumped into this girl with blonde hair and green eyes, and knocked her stuff everywhere,

"Hey!" she shouted in a rude way, I helped her pick it all up,

"I'm so sorry" I said "I'm Sophie"

"Hi I'm Nichole, you're new aren't you?" she questioned,

"Yes I am"

"Hey nice accent, British, right?"

"Indeed it is, um I need some help I'm a little lost"

"Okay so the principals office is at the end of this hall on the very last left"

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome! See you around!" she yelled as she turned and walked away.

I knocked and entered the principals office seeing her at her desk and a boy stood to her left, I have to admit he was VERY hot, he was very tall with dark blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes, they were so gorgeous... oh! sorry. Anyway the principal stood,

"Hello, Sophie, I'm Mrs Joseph and this is Jonah."

Jonah quietly said hi, OMG his voice was so low and sexy, damn, anyway, I replied hey, in the most awkward way possible, then I realised he was from that band I loved called Why Don't We!

"Sophie, Jonah will be showing you around because he is in all your lessons today, so here is your schedule and enjoy your time here." She said softly. Me and Jonah left the room.

We walk for about 1 minute in complete silence, until he said "So where are you from?"

I replied "England, um what about you?"

He looked shocked and said "Ooo your accent is nice, um I'm from Stillwater, Minnesota"

"Thank you, why did you move here?"

"I moved here because of my band, Why Don't We, we all decided to come here because we have a better chance of 'making it', we all live together in a huge house. But the rest of them don't go to this school, so why did you come here?"

"My parents divorced and my mum got offered a better job here, we have only been here 4 months but it feels like it's been forever." I decided not to mention the band because I felt like it would only get more awkward.

"Cool" He mumbled "so here we are, math" He said holding his arms open towards the door, letting me walk in first,

"Thank you" I said while doing a little curtsy and giggle. I walked over to a empty seat at the back of the room and sat right in the corner, I got my phone out and scrolled through Instagram just as Sir began the register. I felt a small tap on my shoulder and looked up saw Jonah standing there,

"Hey can I sit here?" He said pointing at the seat next to me,

"Sure" I said looking right into his eyes and getting lost in them all over again... STOP! Sophie stop! He sat beside me and we just talked non stop, we laughed a lot and then the bell rang ruining our moment... not that, that mattered or anything...

Soon it was the end of the day, time to go home, yay. I was just about to leave when I saw Nichole. I walked up to her and said,

"Hey Nichole!"

"Hey Sophie, nice to see you, do you wanna walk home together?"

"Sure"

"So can I have your number?"

"Yes of course" we swapped phones and I gave her my number and she gave me hers.

We made it to my house and I hugged her goodbye and she left, I went straight in and went to my room, I flopped on my bed and stayed there for around 5 minutes until my phone pinged,

N-Nichole Y-You/Sophie

N-Hey girl

Y-Hey Nikki

N-So have you met him yet?

Y-Who?

N-Jonah of course who else?

Y-Yes why.....?

N-He's so hot isn't he?

Y-Yes he is

N-Why are you so chilled he's the hottest guy in the school, so did you get his number?

Y-NICHOLE WHAT NO!

N-You wanted it though didn't you?

Y-NO HOW COULD YOU E.... yes

N-Ha I knew it

Y-I'm sorry

N-No don't worry, urm I'm sorry I have to go bye bitch

Y-Bye

I got into my pjs and got into bed, i watched Netflix for a while until i fell asleep.
