**Reader's POV**
At lunch, I grab my tray and go to find a place to sit. Then, I hear someone call me, "Hey, (Y/N) you can sit with us." I see Jessica and a couple other girls sitting at a table together. I walk over and say hi then sit next to Jessica. "So this is (Y/N)," she tells her friends, "and (Y/N) this is Brooklyn but we call her Brooke." She gestures to a pretty, petite girl with long brown hair. "And this is Quinn." The sporty, blonde haired girl smiled and waves.
"Nice to meet you all." I say in my most friendly voice.
Jessica says, "(Y/N) here is a competitive ice skater just like Yuri."
"Ohh that's so cool!" Quinn says. "I can't skate, but I play on the girl's volleyball team."
"Nice, my brother plays for the Olympic team here in Russia. That's why we moved. Anyway, what is your position?" I ask.
"I play setter, but I can play wing spiker as well. About your brother, that's so awesome. I've always wanted to play or even see an Olympic game."
"If you want you can come with me to see one of my brother's games." Her face lights up.
"See we all are already great friends!" Jessica interjects. "Hey, one day can we see you compete in a competition?"
"Umm sure, I guess." I say.
"Would Yuri be there as well? I was just wondering since you're the same age and skate if you knew each other?" Brooke questions.
"No, I skate in the ladies portion so I haven't met him before." I respond.
Jessica gasps suddenly, "Oooh wouldn't it be so cute if you and Yuri dated?" My mouth drops and I notice Brooke wearing a sour face.
"No never, I wouldn't date that blonde haired piece of shit, plus I already have a boyfriend who lives in Canada." I reply calmly, Brooke's face lights up at the mention of me having a boyfriend already.
"Ohhhhhhhh is he cute? Is long distance hard? How long have you guys been together?" They all say in unison.
"Yes he is cute, long distance is hard but we can work with it, and we've been together for two years." I state trying to answer the questions to the best of my ability.
"Yay that's good I wouldn't want to crush my new friend's dream. I called dibs on him in the beginning of freshman year. Isn't he sooooo hot?" Brooke fangirls.
"Hey, (Y/N) we were planning on going to the mall after school, are you free?" Jessica asks.
"Oh um, thank you for the offer, but I actually have detention this afternoon." I say.
"That's sad maybe you can join us next time, but seriously you got detention and it's only your first day. What did you do?" Quinn inquires.
"This morning I got into an argument with Yuri and we started to cuss each other out. Then, the teacher caught us and gave us detention." I answer.
"Ooo (Y/N) is a bad girl?!" Jessica says like a child.
"Oh... but just remember Yuri is mine. If you do go after Yuri, I will not hesitate to end you." Brooke threatens me, then gives a smile.
