**Asher's POV**
Turning the silver key clockwise to unlock the front door to my apartment, I walk inside. Looking up, I see two figures casually sitting in front of a monopoly game board in the living room. It seems kinda awkward, and (Y/N) is blushing? Okay weird.
"Hey, guys. How are you feeling, (Y/N)?"
"Hey Asher." Yurio replies.
"Fine." (Y/N) says coldly, not looking up from her game piece.
"Ok uhh... glad to hear that you are doing fin-" I get cut off by (Y/N).
"Yeah, can you just leave us alone so we can play, please?" she says kinda irritated, but I hear the hurt in her voice.
"Oh okay..." I say quietly and walk away. I guess she's still mad at me, maybe in time she'll forgive me. At least Yuri is there for her.

**Reader's POV**
As my brother leaves, silence settles in and we both exchange awkward glances. Then Yuri gets up and says, "Maybe I should leave."
"Yeah, maybe." She looks away.
"Bye." He says as he walk out of the door.

-----Time Skip-----
I walk into the crowded building, looking down at my feet as I walk along the wall to avoid people. I can feel the stares of pity from others. Quickly I enter my class, avoiding Jessica, Quinn, and Brook. I feel them staring at me and during lunch, they sit next to me. I wanted to be alone so, I just politely excused myself. I went to the library and sat by one of the end caps in the back. It wasn't long until Yuri found me.
"I knew you'd be here." he says and sits next to me.
"I just wanted to be alone, no offense to the girls, but the way they look at me... I see their pity whether they mean to or not."
"Yeah, they mentioned you left. They were worried so they asked me to make sure you're okay." I just nod my head and look away. "So about yesterday and your brother..." he asks.
"I guess I'm still upset." I say, sighing.
"You know, he was just trying to protect you. I know he lied, but he thought you not knowing would be better for you... It was a hard decision. Lie to your sister and let her live a life of lies or permanently ruin her childhood, making scars that won't heal."
"I know where you are coming from, but I just feel hurt that I've spent all my life loving a mother that didn't love her own daughter. Deep down I still love him. I just want some time." He nods.
We sit in silence for a long time until he says, "I wanted to apologize, after everything you've been through. I don't want to make it seem like I'm taking advantage of you. It was an inappropriate time, I'm sorry." My face starts to heat up.
"No it's ok, you don't need to apologize... I don't see it that way."
"Oh okay."
"You know you've been there for me for the past week and I've had a lot of time to think and...I" I pause and look at his face and not the ground for once. "...Deep down I think I've felt this for a while, but never was able to place it... and I wonder... I can't help but imagine that moment if there wasn't the interruption..."
