"Sis, why do the Elders warn us about the Temples?" My little sister Nina said, she was always curious about the stories about the two Sister Temples, ever since she was 8. Although now, she was old enough to know the true stories about the Temples, not what those fools up in the palace have the teachers tell the children of this city.

"Well, because if people go into the Temples, bad things can happen. Of course that is what the Elders say. Mother, Father and I know the truth." She tugged on my shirt and jumped up and down. "What's the truth!? Tell me! Tell me!" She yelled. When it came to the legends, she always acted like a little kid. I took a deep breath, "settle down and I will tell you." She stopped jumping and looked up at me with wide eyes,

"really Winn!? You'll really tell me?!" I nodded. she plopped onto the floor in front of me, I sat down in the chair which I was standing in front of and put my hands in my lap. "The true story about the Sister Temples all starts with two old families that used to live in a city that our village is built on. They believed in a God and a Goddess." I put both my hands out symbolizing the two beings, I shook my left hand slowly. "The God, was said to be the god of the sea. He guided the sailors over the Sea to make sure that they got to their destination safely." I stopped shaking my left hand and started shaking my right hand slowly. "But the Goddess on the other hand, was believed to be the Goddess of the Moon, it was said that she could control the Sea, and everything in it, and around it." I stopped shaking my right hand, "the two major families argued about which being was real, and eventually they built two Temples, one for the Goddess and one for the God. Unfortunately for the two families, there was a powerful Mage that lived in the city. She believed in neither spiritual being, but she was enraged by the two families bickering. So she cursed the Temples, if anyone of the two families were to go into the Temples, the city would fall into ruin." I took a breath, "she also said, that if a person, of one of the families, went inside the opposite families' Temple, it would cause that family to all die in one night. But what the Mage didn't say was that if the last known heir of either family ever walked inside which ever temple, a large crack would appear in the Earth's crust, it would grow to be so long, that it would wrap around the Earth once, then monsters and terrible beings would come out of the crack, and turn all of us into half human half monsters." Her eyes widened, and a big smile grew on her face. "Is it true sis? Is that really true?" I nodded, "yes, me, you, Mother, and Father, are the last of one of the families. Our original name was Reid." She nodded, "what is the other family's name?" I smiled at her enthusiasm, "The other family's name is Albu."  She looked down and starting saying the two family names over and over again. "Reid and Albu. Got it!" I nodded and put my hand on her head and messed up her hair. "Go play Nina." I said my smile still on my face.
