I blinked, "why? What was the point?" Arvyntyr looked at me, " He wanted to create an army, so that if he had to fight the other races in order to make the Goddess the leader of the city then so be it. He kidnapped some of the other demons around him in order to create said army. Many fought against him, they did not wish to be turned into Monsters, but sadly he had won the war between them and himself. There weren't enough of his race that wouldn't be missed in the city, but he got enough." I shook my head, "how do you know they fought back?" I asked him, hoping that he had nothing to do with all those experiments. Arvyntyr's two whiskers moved in sync, like they were being blown in the wind, "I noticed that many of the people were going missing, and one of them escaped the demon leader and came to me for help, but before I could do anything, the leader snatched her back. She was just a kid, an orphan, and I had to watch her grow up a monster." Arvyntyr had a pained look in his eyes. Like he was putting the blame of the girl on his own shoulders. "Is that how the old city was destroyed?" Xavier asked Arvyntyr, and he nodded, "yes, a war was started between the missing Demons, Nagas and Humans. The Nagas and Humans wanted to keep their city how it was but the army of missing Demons did not. The Reid family saw what the leader of the Albu family had done to those demons, and it started the feud between the two families, the main Naga of the Reid family looked to me for help, she said that since I could control the water that I could be their guardian when things turned sour. But the demons went to the goddess wanting the same thing. They believed that both of us could easily kill the other using the power of the sea. So the war turned from wanting the Goddess to lead the city, to seeing which God could kill the other. That is what set off Ruine, and after they built the temples, he cursed the them. Making it so neither of the sides could seek council with us. We did not wish to be pitted against each other, in fact neither of us gave a definite yes to killing each other." "But in the end, after seeing that they had no choice, both sides decided that they could handle it themselves, and they tore the city apart, they burned buildings and covered the gravel with blood." I looked at Arvyntyr, he still had that pained look in his eyes, and I had a feeling that we both felt remorse for those people. "And yet we made the mistake of letting them kill each other, and the Albu leader had such a ridiculous reason for killing and hurting all those people. I have always believed that he had completely lost his mind, but who's to say." A voice echoed through the Temple. It was a woman's voice, she sounded like she was in her mid to late 20s. I looked around but I didn't see anyone else. "That fool. If only he saw what he was doing to those people. If only he could see the immense pain they were in, and stopped, then Maybe Aons would still be standing today." I heard a roar like sound coming from above us, I looked up and saw the woman. She had blue skin, she had wings that were the same color of her skin, but the inner side of her wings were black, she had long white flowing hair and claws on her hands and feet. I stared in Awe of her, she was gorgeous. Her eyes were glowing a grey color. When she landed on the floor her wings moved behind her back, The Dragon turned and nodded to her, and she nodded back. "Lady Khirya. It is nice to see you here." She smiled, "Same goes for you Arvyntyr."
