Once again I'm in the oceans water.
Turtles and fish swim freely through the water, they are my friends and the only friends that know I'm a mermaid.

I stop

I stop. My eyes widen. I'm in shock.
A sea turtle is trapped in fishing net. I need to save it!
I swim over to the fishing net trying my best to get it out of there.
I rip at the tough net, one thing that I didn't notice is my tail getting tangled up with it.

The turtle is free. But now I'm the one who's trapped. The boat is reeling in the net. I'm giving everything I got to get out!
Nothing's happening and I'm getting myself more and more stuck.

Im loosing breath, and yeah just because I'm a mermaid doesn't mean I can breathe under water for ever

Im loosing breath, and yeah just because I'm a mermaid doesn't mean I can breathe under water for ever. I can stay under there for more than 20 minutes. But my time is coming to an end.

The light is going, I'm loosing vision. I see something coming towards me.

And than nothing.

And than something.

I wake up gasping for air.

I'm still in the ocean but the boat is gone and it's just me and a... girl.

Carley.

Its Carley!

"C,Carley?"
"Haha yep!"
"What are you doing in the ocean"
"What all mermaids do sweety?" She chuckles and swims around me.
"Your... hold up! What?!"
"Yes I'm a mermaid, same as you. I always new you where a mermaid, I'm just surprised you never figured out I was too".

"That's why when you got water splashed on your face that time you freaked out and ran away..." I looked her in the eyes and gave her a big hug.

"I owe you my life!" I say to Carley. Carley looks at me and grins.
"You don't owe me your life, but you do owe me a race!" She says clapping her hands.

"Your on!"

Off we go! Zooming through the water. I'm happy, she's happy. I'm stoked that I finally have a friend who understands my struggle. And a friend that I can swim with!

Her tail is like her face, stunning and so elegant. Beautiful shades of pink glisten and shine. Shells and pearls hang off seaweed that wraps around her tail. She is the most gorgeous mermaid I have seen, nothing like in the books, nothing like on google images.
Her beauty always and for ever will make me jealous.

We swam for hours and hours. We have never experienced anything so thrilling in our lives even though we have always been mermaids. Swimming with another mermaid was like entering another world.
