I look out at the ocean from my bedroom window. I smile and run down the stairs, today is not a school day, I can finally swim for the whole day!

I run onto the sand.
Alex's POV
I walk along the sand with my bucket and fishing rod. I see Ana running to the waters edge.
I drop my bucket and run to her yelling out to wait. She stops and I finally catch up getting my breath back.
Ana's POV
A boy is shouting at me from the distance, I stop and finally figure out what he's saying. Wait? Why is he saying wait? Is there a shark in the water or something? Cause I don't care they are my friends.
He stops right in front of me puffing like a dog. He finally gets his breath back.
"Hey! Your in my class right?"
Than it finally sinks in, this is the guy from my class... who was running after me that day. Aaaand also that awkward time out in the ocean.
"Oh hi? Do I know you?" "Yeah I'm in your class? My names Alex nice to meet you" "Nice to meet you to my names..." "Ana I already know" "..." "Oh jeez... that sounded weird, I mean like I know your name already cause your always late for class" "😑 wow thanks... great that you found out who I was that way." "Yeah it was" "I was being sarcastic" I say under my breath.
The waves splash at our feet as we stand there talking to each other, I'm just lucky that he doesn't recognise me as the girl he saw in the ocean.
Suddenly I realise, UM ANA YOUR FEET ARE GETTING SPLASHED BY THE FRICKEN WAVES!!!
I start to freak out cause I know I only got seconds till I transform. "Are you ok?" Alex says with widened eyes. "I gotta go! Bye!" I sprint to the door of my house and jump in landing on the ground with a thud, feeling my legs turn into a tail. "Phew that was close..."
I close the door and lay there looking up at the ceiling. I hear a knock on the door. How am I meant to answer that?!
"Ana are you in there!?" Alex yells.
Great he's out side.
"Um yeah! Just a second!" He fricken followed me to my house?! Creep much!
"Are you ok? Can I come in?" And to make it worse he starts to open the door.
"No!" I push the door close with my tail.
"Why can't I come in?" "Because... IM NAKED!" Silence. And more silence
I transform back and open the door.
"How where you naked? That's the same thing you had on before..."
😅 "uuhh I, ok look you should get going I'm busy right now."
"Oh ok..."
"Ok bye!" 😬😅
I slam the door shut and sigh.
"Jeez I can't even go one day without having a close encounter with turning into a frickin fish in front of someone"
Alex's POV
I don't understand her? why is she so unusual?
I smile at the thought of that.
shes weird, but a good weird.
I grab my bucket and fishing rod and make my way back to my fathers fish and chip shop smiling the whole way there realizing, I finally got to talk to the girl of my dreams.
