The sun pierces through the blinds.
I crack open the window letting the salty clean air breeze through the room.
The breeze calmly hits my face as my eyes meet the sun.
Even though this all seems so great.
Something is wrong.

Whilst opening my locker a hand slams it shut.
Not a angry slam.
A weak slam.

It's Alex.

"I'm so sorry Ama..."

"No it's my fault for running away and ignoring you."

"No."

"No?"

"I'm sorry for your loss..."

"What?" I laugh like a small anxious laugh.
"You must be thinking of someone else? I haven't lost anyone."

"Carley's dead."

"That's bull sh*t, if your thinking of scaring me it's not working"

"I'm not playing games" Alex hesitates. "She killed her self."

I can't think, Carley can't be dead.
She is smart and beautiful and everyone loves her. How can someone so perfect even think of ending it all.

My mind is on repeat.
She can't be dead, she can't be dead, she can't be dead, she can't be dead, she can't be dead, she can't be dead.
On and on and on.

I've ran away from Alex last time I saw him

I've ran away from Alex last time I saw him.
And I'm sorry for that.
But I'm doing it again.

All I can do is run.
It's like my heart and lungs no longer exist.
And I'm running, running. Can't stop running.

I can't seem to cry.
My emotions are so muddled up.

I stop.
