Your friends with Shawn's friend and you meet him, you get to know him, you become friends, and slowly but surely, you fall in love with him. Him on the other hand , you don't know how he feels.
Violet's POV: Sunday, August 20,2017 8:10 a.m. *alarm* "Snoooooze!" *Ding* "Who's texting me now?" I unlock my phone and it's Leah. Leah is like my sister. Leah is 19 and I'm 18. Her parents adopted me and Lily when my mom died 6 years ago. I never met my dad. My little sister, Lily was the best little sister you could ask for. Obviously we fought but I loved her. I always will. She would've turned 16 next week. But she's gone. She died last year at 15. I just wish it was me that was gone and not her, she deserved better, but I'm living for her. I should stop thinking about this before I start to cry. I look down at my phone . "WAKE UP!!! TODAY IS THE DAY!" It says. "The day for what exactly?" I reply "Your an actual idiot V, you know that right?" She says "I know 😂 But so are youuu" "Today your going to meet Shawn!" Leah replies. "Oh yeah, cool" "Be here soon!" "Okay okay!" I say and I close my phone. I may be pretending to not care, but I AM SO EXCITED! I get up and go take a shower. I make a fruit smoothie and put on an outfit.

I head out the door and I walk to Leah's house (she lives a few houses down). I ring the doorbell and Shawn opens the door. I put on a nervous smile. "Hey" he says. "Um hi" I say back. God he is so cute. His eyes. SNAP OUT OF IT. "I'm Violet, Leah's friend" I manage to get out. "Oh yeah, Leah told me you were coming over. Well it's great to meet you. I'm Shawn by the way." "I know." I blurt out. "I mean like I know who you are and like I've heard your songs and s-stuff-" I stutter. I am totally embarrassing myself. He laughs. "You don't have to be so shy, I'm not going to bite." I smile. "Vi? Shy? Yeah right!" Leah comes to the door and starts laughing. I just get even more nervous after that. "Are you going to come in or stand there all day?" She says. I laugh. "I'm coming!" I go inside and Shawn closes the door. Leah and I sit down and Shawn sits beside me. "So Shawn, this is Violet, Vi this is Shawn." Leah says. I wave my hand awkwardly and he does that smile that makes me get butterflies. Well I mean obviously I'm going to be excited, he's SHAWN MENDES! "How about let's all go to Wonderland today?" (Wonderland is an amusement park in Toronto near where Shawn lives) "Yeah lets go I love wonderland!!" I exclaim. They both give a short laugh. Guess we're going to wonderland!
