Overwatch High School: Mercy x Male Reader

-Chapter 25-

I walked down the halls of my new school. It was pretty much the same thing as OWHS. Just different logos. My phone starts to vibrate in my jeans. I take it out and it says "Angela" with a heart emoji next to it. She was calling me. I slide it to the right and put it back in my pocket.

Classes was normal. It was finally CT. I walked into the Combat Training Room and into the armoury. I was greeted by not an omnic, but a person. He showed me the armour designer. I chose my armour that I got back in OWHS and did the same thing in the weapon maker.

I put the armour on and walked out with my rifle in hand. I look at the general sitting down with a cigar in his mouth. I take my seat as he starts speaking.

"Alright. Today we have a match against OWHS. I want our new recruit to be working as a general." He looks at me and nods. I nod back and grin.

We are going into a computer simulation this game. But bullets can still hurt like hell. I look over at the Overwatch side and see Angela. She was sad. I could tell...I shake my head to get any thoughts of her out. A recruit comes to me in his French ACU. He gives me a kama...it's like a miniture scythe.

"Leader's kama." He said with a smile. I take the Kama and look at it. It's light. I chuckle I look back at Angela. She walked to a bench and started crying. I needed to do something...I know, I know...I know what happened...but she is obviously hurt...

I touch a button on my mask so that it will move down, covering up my face. I walk over and get next to Angela. She looks over at me and continues to sob.

"What's wrong?..." I ask. My voice sounds different through this mask.

It takes her a minute to respond, but she simply responds with "H...He left me...I don't know Wh-" She was cut off by a bunch more sobs. I put a arm around her and she continues to sob on my shoulder. I felt bad, but...why did she say she didn't know why?...

"Oi...It's okay. He may come back. He may not. Just...he might've found out something he didn't like. You know?..."

She looks at me and nods. "I gotta go..." She gets up and walks to her platoon as I walk to mine.

A womans voice goes through the building. She said "Please make your way to the Combat Computer Simulation Stations. You will put on a helmet that will scan your body along with weapons."

We all walked to out stations. I get into mine and put the helmet on and hold my weapons closely. Everything turns black and then I was in a battlefield. Around me my platoon was holding their rifles at the ready. 

"May the battle start..." The woman's voice says again.

"Let's go!" I scream out to my combatants. We had 10 vehicles. 2 APC's and 2 humvees, perfect for my platoon of 50. We led the way in a humvee. It was actually a smaller battlefield so we will have a bigger battle. There was a town in the middle where everyone is heading. We were flanking the right side. 

The battle had already started, for you can hear gunshots before you even get there. It does look like another platoon was heading for us as well. Our vehicles didn't have guns but I knew what to do. "All of you jump out." I say to everyone in our humvee. They do as I say and I charge my humvee straight into another humvee. Before they hit, I activate a grenade, and jump out.

The humvee crashed into the other and then the grenade goes off. I see red pixels fly into the air. A APC stops infront of me, and men poor out. I let out a smile and take my kama out. The rest of everybody is shooting at each other, but these guys are mine.

I have my eyes on the first one that comes out. I take my kama and hit his shoulder. I take it out, and kick him into the ground. the next person that comes out, I crash it into his skull. More come out and I kill them. In a good 5 minutes more than half are dead. By this point, they are also all out of the ACP. 

I cut the throat of one, hit the leg of another and finish him off with a quick hit to the chest, hit the chest of the next, and hit the throat of the next 3. Only three left standing. One shot and it hit the side of my leg. It wasn't bad. I use the curved blade of the kama to get under the rib cage of a soldier. I use him as a shield as I take my handgun out. I shoot 4 rounds into one, and 2 in the other. I take the kama out of the guy, and shoot him in the head.

I look over and...fucking over half of my platoon is dead?...What the hell? I could see only 15 out of the 50! This was a special operations...that means...It's either Angela or Genji...And Genji is far easier to see...

I walk over to the last humvee standing. I go to the side where they were at, and look at them. 5 people sat there, helpless. Angela was one of them. 

"Sir, is it all clear?" I hear one of them yell.

I look back at the 5 and look at Angela. I take my pistol out, and shoot five times...The dirt went up and touched them. "Yeah...All clear." I look down at them and whisper "Lay down on the ground, and play dead." They did what I said, and layed on the ground. I walked away with my soldiers into the town.

We fought and fought until we barely had many troops. It was 2 generals and 3 soldiers. I was a general, and had 1 guy with me. I see the 3 others and notice...it was Angela...I look at my soldier and he aims at the Unknowing Angela. He was about to shoot until I shot him...Fuck! I run out of the building and shoot the two soldiers. 

Angela stares at me. She never carried around a weapon, only a staff. I aim my gun at her. She closes her eyes...BAM!
