Nothing's Won Without Loss

The games had started and all players were trying their hardest not to be captured.

Franklin listened desperately to his teammates, all telling him which direction to run and shoot in whilst trying not to die themselves. Franklin was inevitably captured and killed leaving Thumbs of Fury with only 3 players, although this also helped them as they no longer had to shout directions at Franklin.

Mega Domination had the same thing happen to them, only Alex managed to last a little while longer before she was out of the game.

Alex walked over to the refreshment area where she saw Franklin getting a drink.

"Hey, you're from Ash's old team aren't you?" Alex asked him.

"Oh hey, yeah I am, wait are you from her new team?" He asked in reply.

"Yeah I am, I'm Alex by the way" She said.

"Nice to meet you Alex" Franklin Said happily.

"Hey, maybe you could tell me what's going on between Ash and that Connor guy" She questioned him.

Franklin proceeded to tell Alex of what happend between them, and how both of them felt after and how Connor had "totally screwed up" and how Ashley felt abandoned and had left because of it.

"Wow, well let me tell you she is not over him" Alex told him.

"Really? Connor can't stop kicking himself over how stupid he was" Franklin replied.

"We have to try and help them!" Alex said.

"Quick,the games are nearly over, give me your number, then we can talk more" Franklin asked.

"Sure, here it is" Alex said, scribbling on a napkin, then handing it to Franklin.

Then they both went to join their teams, and congratulate them on winning their games.

The loud voice on the speakers boomed over the gaming areas.

"Well done to all those who won their games, you will be advancing to the next round, and to all those who lost, please pack your things and leave, you have our commiserations."

All the teams made their way back to their rooms, 16 to pack and 16 to celebrate and all to talk of what the next challenge would have been and will be and how the remaining teams will do in it.
