"Why does training have to be such a bitch?" You groaned clutching your leg on your bottom bunk. Ymir sat on her bunk with her arms around Historia. Mikasa walked in with a towel around her neck and a letter in her hand. She walked over and handed the letter over to you. "Jean wanted me to give this to you." Her usually monotonous voice carried some pep in it. You took the letter and grabbed a nearby knife. While you were opening the letter, Mikasa sat down and looked over your shoulder at the note stuffed inside. 

"Hey, can't I read a letter in peace?" You gave a friendly push to Mikasa but she put her entire body weight on you making it difficult to read. "What does it say (Y/n)?" You knocked your head against hers and skimmed through the note. "It says that he has a question and a gift for me." 

Mikasa leaned back and smirked at you. "Oh, does he now?" You punched your friend again and Ymir spoke up. "Ooh~ I wonder what kind of gift he has in store for you." All of your roommates knew about the crush you had on Jean. And Mikasa encouraged it to no end. Talking about how well you looked and if she didn't like Eren as much as she did, she'd go after you. "Well, I guess I better meet him." As you exited the room Ymir shouted: "GO GET SOME!"

You arrived at the meeting place which was behind the cafeteria. You noticed the familiar light brown hair and called out to him. He turned around and smiled sitting on the ground. He stood up and brushed himself off. You saw that he was holding a bundle of something, you didn't know what though. "I see you got my message." 

"Yeah, I did... So why did you wanna see me?" You shuffled over to Jean and peeked at the bundle. "Well, I wanted to give you something I found. I thought you would like it." Your curiosity grew when he unwrapped what was in the bundle. He revealed a very small calico kitten that was sleeping peacefully in his arms. The cat opened her eyes and looked around, she stood and stretched herself then proceeding to lick her paws. 

"Oh my gosh, Jean! She looks so cute! You went up to the kitten and stroked her head. She purred and leaned into the touch. "Wait. How do you know it's a girl?" You looked up at him and smiled, petting the kitten some more. "My parents loved cats. Their favorite ones were tuxedo and calico cats. After a few years of breeding them, they concluded that only females have the calico pattern. They weren't sure why though. Either way, they're beautiful." 

Jean carefully handed you the kitten and scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, she sure is beautiful. Just like y-"

"achoo!" You let out a small sneeze startling the kitten but not enough to scare her. You rubbed your nose and gave the kitten back to Jean. Your nose twitched and you let out a few more sneezes. When looked Jean again he was trying his hardest to not laugh. "Aww~ Your sneezes are so cute! They're like kittens sneezes." 

"Oh yeah, I have a mild cat allergy." You rubbed your nose again and Jean gave you a short hug. "I really wanted to get you something nice before I asked you." He looked kind of down and you returned his hug. "It's ok, I love cats so it's no problem." He gazed down into your eyes. "Well..umm..W-will you go out with me?" The tips of your ears went bright red and you hid your head in his shirt...which had cat hair on it. "ah- ah-choo" 

"Is that a yes?" You stepped back and looked at him, your nose being an adorable shade of red. "Y-yeah." You leaned in and gave him a peck on the lips. Now it was his turn to be flustered. The cat pawed at his face and jumped on your shoulder rubbing against your face. "Aw, I think my kitty is jealous." The kitten sat up and sniffed a bit then let out a tiny sneeze. "Plus, she's perfect for you." 

"WOO-HOO GO GET IT, GIRL!" 

"Ymir! Stop spying!"
