Happy Birthday

"Ugh." You woke up and looked out a window. Apparently it was early in the morning and not even a bit of sun was peeking over the horizon. You yawned and ran your fingers through your (h/l) (h/c) hair. Then it hit you..It was your birthday: The worst day of the year. You mentally complained and flopped back down on the bed. Your face grimaced at the painful memories of your sister getting eaten by a titan a year ago. Deciding that you should probably get up, you rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom. Since nobody knew that today was your birthday you decided that no one had to know. But, thinking over it there was one person who knew and that ruined everything. Hanji.

You knew for a definite fact that Hanji would spill the news to everyone. You sighed and went to put on some clothes. Since today was a free day, Levi wanted us to clean. He said that the place wasn't clean enough to his standards. Even if you wanted to choke the guy because of it, you wouldn't because you knew how he grew up. After putting on a (f/c) button up shirt and pants, you walked outside of your room to get an early breakfast.
(Time skip)
When you got to the mess hall, nobody was there yet, so you laid your head down on the table and waited. After a while, the aroma of the food drifted into your nose and you heard people coming in. Someone walked up to where you sitting. Lifting your head up you saw Hanji smiling in your face. "Hey, (F/n)!" Hanji rang out. You began to rub your ears when she grabbed your hands and pulled you close. "Oh. Hey, Hanji. What's up." "Your birthday is what's up!" She whispered but it was still loud. "Ugh. Don't remind me..or anyone else for that matter!" "Too late!" Hanji stood up again and rested her palms on her hips with a large smile still painted on her face. "What?! How many people did you tell?" You stood up yourself to get some food and Hanji followed you. "Oh just all of Levi squad and Levi."
"I hate you." You said in a monotone voice. "Nah, you love me~" Hanji was being more ecstatic then ever. "I swear if anyone jumps out at me and screams 'Happy Birthday', I don't care who it is, I will punch them." Hanji just shrugged.

Walking back to the table I was greeted by Eren and Jean fighting over a topic that seemed to do with girls. "Oi. Can't you two go bicker somewhere else I'm trying to sit down and eat." The two stopped and stared at you. Eren was the first to talk. "Oh, hey (F/n), how are you?" You yawned again and plopped down on the seat. "I was doing fine until I saw you and Kirchstein fighting. Besides Hanji and I were having a conversation until you broke it." The last part you spat at them. You didn't mean to be rude but Hanji was already speaking for you. "She didn't mean it like that. It's just that today's her Birth-" You slammed a hand over her mouth and glared at her with daggers in your eyes. "Say anymore and I will feed you to titans!" Jean looked at you then smirked. "So, today's your birthday. Don't look a day over 14." You growled at him. Everyone knew that you were 20 years old. But now he knew you were 21. Despite your age, you looked much younger and similar looking to Levi..which sorta weirded people out to think that you were related to that short clean freak. But you were his cousin, which allowed you to do things others weren't allowed to do like pounce on him or take away his duster and make him have to jump to get it. Speaking of Humanity's Strongest, there he was tapping his foot behind you. You had wondered why Eren looked so uptight and now you knew. Bending your head back you smiled as a way to greet him. "What are you doing Corporal (L/n)?" Levi looked annoyed as he raised an eyebrow. Hanji began to mumble something, so you took away your hand realizing it was wet. Disgusted you wiped it on Hanji. Jean looked at you with a mix of surprise and fear in his light honey brown orbs. Now it was your turn to smirk. Doing so made his eyes grow even larger. You giggled at him doing so then stood to face Levi. "Sorry Levi, I was just about to send Kirchstein to stable duty. He deserves to be punished by being with his own kind. And you can find a punishment for Jaeger since the only one in my mind is to send him with Kirchstein, but they may end up fighting again so...yeah." Levi looked a bit impressed but barely showed it. He quickly glanced to Eren who stiffened up at the sudden eye contact. "Oi, brat. Go clean every bathroom in this place until I'm satisfied with the work." "Y-yes sir!" Eren gave a salute and hurried off in search for cleaning supplies. Looking back at you, Levi's expression softened as he walked up to you. He quickly put you in a headlock and ruffled your hair. "Happy birthday, you good for shit cousin." Levi smiled a bit as you pouted. Finally pushing Levi away, you patted your hair down and gave Levi a look mixed with gratitude and annoyance. Levi nodded at you at looked to Jean. "You better have the stables clean or you'll be sleeping in them tonight." With that Levi walked off with Hanji in the direction of Mike. Sighing you turned to Jean who was still confused. "Ha. Betcha didn't know I have authority did ya? You can get punishment for being sarcastic to me. Better watch what you say to me from now on." You walked in the direction if the stables and motioned Jean to follow you. "Since when do you have the rank of Corperal." Jean asked from behind you. "Since a week ago, so I can punish you for all those little misdeeds that you did." You smiled and looked down at your boots thinking of something else.
(Time skip)
You were on top of a fence directing Jean what to do. Your mind wandered off onto something Mikasa said a couple days ago. "Since, you are a Corperal now. I guess you can punish Jean for hitting on me. But it has been less of him wanting to go out with me and more of trying to make someone jealous."  These words lingered through your mind multiple times entrancing you so much you didn't hear Jean calling you. "Hello!? Are you even hearing me?!" Jean was now in front of you. You got startled and tipped backwards. Jean grabbed your hand to try to stop you from falling but went down with you. "Ehh..." Jean looked down at you and quickly got up from the somewhat suggestive position you were in. His face was being dusted with a light pink when he offered to help you up. Accepting the hand you got up and started brushing yourself off. "Did you hear anything I said?" Jean questioned as you looked up at him. Clicking your tongue, you answered "No. I was deep in thought. And excuse me." You walked by Jean and headed straight for the building to find Eren.
(A lazy Time skip)
"Hey Eren." You looked down to see Eren on his hands and knees scrubbing the floor. He glanced up at you then back to the floor. "What is it?" He began to focus on one spot in particular as he scrubbed. Leaning against the doorframe you asked him a question. "What were you and Jean fighting about?" Eren paused for a few seconds and looked up at you. Getting up he placed the cleaning sponge on a counter and replied. "It was something about a girl he liked. I thought it was Mikasa and  brought her up to where he said no. I thought he was lying and then we fought." "Did he happen to mention the girl he liked?" "Uh..yeah but-" "Tell me and I'll lessen your cleaning duties."

Jean was currently cleaning some of the horses. It was approaching 5 o'clock have he was near finishing. He had noticed that you had not been back for several hours, but remembered you mumbling something about Eren. He grimaced at the thought of you being with Eren instead of him. Did you actually hear what he said? He began combing his slender fingers through his hair as he sighed. "And you think you can stop working when I'm not watching? Shame on you." He tightened up at sound of your voice. He turned around and saw you in a sports bra and shorts. It was a hot day out so he didn't question your motives for doing so, but he did question where you had been. "I was asking Eren about the fight and then I did some training. Why?" Jean's eyes widened a bit with you mentioning the fight but kept calm. Taking your place on the fence again you kept talking. "Eren said something about a girl you liked. Is that any reason to get into a fight? Over a pathetic girl that you happen to like?" Jean looked like he was going to explode which unfortunately he did. "She is not pathetic!" Jean yelled at you. You closed your eyes and smirked. "Oh really, well since she isn't Mikasa then you are definitely downgrading in your choice of women." "I'm not downgrading! She happens to be very beautiful and smart! She has soft (h/c) hair and amazing (e/c) eyes! In fact I think that she is more beautiful then Mikasa! But she's just too stupid to notice I'm in love with her!" You looked at him, his eyes burning with anger and his fists clenched. "So? Who is she?" You asked even though you knew. You laughed and hopped down from the fence. "And I was planning on giving her a present today.." Jean looked away but you turned his face towards you. Your expression calm which made his anger subside for the moment. "You never did answer my question Jean~" You put your hands on his upper arms and leaned closer to him. Jean suddenly knew what you had just did. He looked looked down and shook his head. "You already know." You lifted his chin up and gazed into his eyes "Then say it." You flickered your eyes to his lips and back to his eyes. He seemed to notice as he leaned in and enveloped your lips with his. The first thing he noticed was how soft and sweet your lips were and how he wanted more of them. He deepened the kiss and put his hands gently on your waist. You went ahead and bit his bottom lip causing him to moan a bit and allowing your tongue to slither into his mouth. Surprised by this move he moaned louder. You kissed like this up until you had to separate for lack of oxygen. Panting, you both look at each other with a look in both of your eyes that could only be classified as hungry. Smirking, you attach your lips to his neck sucking and biting. He moans louder than you expected and you detach leaving a rather large sized hickey. He looks surprised and you only smile causing him to lick and bite at your neck pushing you against a wall, while grinding into you. Your moans only make him go even crazier. But it stopped when you heard someone's foot tapping on the ground. "If you two could be a bit quieter that would be great. You recognize the voice and blush while Jean slowly turns around. "I never knew you liked that kind of stuff on your birthday (Y/n). But maybe you can do that later when the entire stable is clean." Levi glared at both Jean and you. You had your tongue sticking out at him and Jean was preforming a salute. "Heh, you're just jealous that your younger cousin is getting more action then you." "Shut up (Y/n)! I have a love life too." "With what? A broom." You flashed him a shit eating grin and Levi just flicked you off and left. "So...I'm guessing that was my present." You looked at Jean and he smirked "Oh. You're getting a much bigger present tonight birthday girl~"
