XVII. Ironheads & Hyacinths

I walked into Oliver's house and looked how beautifully furnished and lavish his house was, I looked up and saw him at the top of the balcony on his cellphone.

"Come up to my office Violet." He called down to me. I jogged up the stairs and met him at the top.

"You look cozy." He smiled looking at my sweats and oversized black tee.

"Sorry that I didn't dress up for you my highness."

"You look just as beautiful as you did the day I met you." He stated, I didn't have time to respond because he was already leading me to his office that was just as fancy as his work office, lots of art and expensive decorations.

He led me again to a couch and we sat down.

"Those windows are bullet proof right?"

"Yes." Oliver answered seriously pulling out his file.

"Really?"

"I'm Oliver Queen, people hate me, it's part of my charm."

I laughed, "you're not good at jokes."

Oliver fought a smile.

"I see you've already decorated for the party tonight."

"Ah yes, I'm expecting a lot of people, I wanted to be prepared. The workers are fixing the back now."

We worked on the project he  brought me there for and of course it got late and I realized I wasn't going to have time to go home and back, it was the middle of the day, and Oliver knew the time difference from his house to Theas, he'd notice.

"I'll call Diggle to get your necessities and you can get ready in my room, I'm sorry for keeping you. The party is starting soon."

"How will Diggle get in my apartment?" He didn't answer so I decided I didn't want to know, "You know what, I probably don't want to know."

Oliver chuckled and read through my annotations, "you're probably right."

I yawned and stretched my arms and couldn't help but to see Oliver staring intensely at my stomach.

"What?" I laughed looking down and noticed the indent in my skin from the accident, Lily felt self conscious and quickly pulled my shirt down.

"I didn't mean to stare," Oliver quickly said, "it's just, that scar is dangerous close to your liver, you're very lucky."

No, no I'm not.

I smiled, "it's a long story but I was lucky, could've died."

Oliver sucked in a breath, he didn't like that, he didn't like it at all.

"Was it a person or--"

"Don't worry, I'm handling it." Violet smirked, just a few more weeks and her mission for the past year would finally be finished, ten targets to end, and coming closer to figuring out who the leader was. My research had narrowed the search down to MIA Australia Special Forces agents, whoever this man was, he wasn't going to get away from me, I could still remember his eyepatch, the one that haunted my sleep.

Oliver looked at his watch, "Diggle will be here in thirty minutes, you can get something to eat for while you wait in my room."

I nodded, suddenly I realized I was going to be in his room... where we got naked, and had sex with Laurel. I rolled my eyes at the thought. Something about the girl rang my alarms.
