Quick A/N: yes, I'm aware that Vic and Mike's mom is in fact not Mexican. This is fanfiction, so it doesn't all have to be the same as real life.

I'm not mad, I hate how serious A/N's look because you can't add emojis. I'm just saying.

The final bell rang, signalling the end of class. I gathered up my pens and books, putting them in their designated places in my bookbag. I wasn't in a rush like the other students, as I wanted to stay organized by putting everything where I know it will be.

I waved to my history teacher on the way out, before strolling down the hall towards my locker. Just like every day, Vic was waiting for me by it.

"Hey beautiful." He smiled and gave me a peck on the lips, before letting me open my locker. I shoved my whole bag inside, since I didn't have any homework to bring home.

I took his hand and intertwined our fingers as we walked down the hall towards the exit. We walked in a comfortable silence across the parking lot, which was slowly emptying.

"I really like this color." He complimented, lifting my our hands up to look at my mint colored nail polish. I smiled and thanked him quietly, pecking his cheek to get a grin out of him.

"Where to?" I asked as we got in his sexy ass car. Yes, I said sexy. I immediately pulled the mirror towards me to check my makeup.

I didn't wear a full face if makeup today. I just put on some blue-to-green ombre eyeshadow and some winged eyeliner, and left my cheeks and lips nude.

"Stop moving my mirror." He grumbled playfully, adjusting it so he could see behind the car again. I buckled up, and glanced to see if he did the same. He has a horrible habit of forgetting to buckle.

"And as far as where we're going, I was thinking we could go to my house." He said, resting his palm flat on my seat behind my head and looking behind him as he backed out of the parking space.

"Oh, okay." I said casually, but internally I was freaking out.

I had only been dating Vic for about six months, I'd never met his family before. Besides Mike of course, but still. What if they didn't like that I wear makeup? What if they think I'm weird and that Vic could do better?

Vic speaks so highly of his family, so surely, there's no way they could be close-minded. They already know Vic likes boys, so surely they won't mind if I wear makeup and women's clothes.

I'm not even wearing a skirt or dress today. I decided on a long, baby blue sweater and leggings today, and I thought I looked quite cute in it.

"You okay, Kellin? You spaced out?" Vic said, not taking his eyes off the road.

"Yeah, I'm good, just a little nervous. You know, pre-family-meeting jitters." I laughed worriedly.

"I talk about you all the time, Kellin. They will love you, I'm pretty sure my mother already does." He said with a chuckle, squeezing my hand which I didn't even realize he was holding.

"You're right, I'm being silly." I said, smiling slightly and closing my eyes, leaning my head back on the headrest.

We got to his house a few minutes later, pulling into the driveway of a very lovely brick house. It was one story, but pretty large, with a hell of a garden out front. It must be maintained by Vic's mother.

Vic had to drag me a little towards his house, pushing the door open and taking his shoes off by the door. He insisted I do the same, and then I looked around. To my left was an open kitchen, and to my right was the den where everyone seemed to be.
