Quick Note- I haven't worked on this book in like forever, like almost a year but I've recently started writing again so forgive me!! I want to go through and change some parts but I won't cause it might just make things more confusing. Anyways here's the original note I had written here: I've been rereading some chapters (I'm going to go through and re-edit eventually btw) and I feel like maybe I've been a bit overly dramatic with the story¿ If that's something your not into, I apologize. Though, I have lots of plans that are waiting to be put into action so stay tuned for all that jazz. Obviously there's some suspicion happening to and I'm so excited to raise the climax even more. This chapter and continuing chapters are going to be back to Corrine's POV. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy ! SORRY THIS IS A REALLY LONG CHAPTER AND IT ENDS IN A WEIRD PLACE BUT THE NEXT CHAPTER IS ON THE WAY.

Corrine's POVShe used to always tell me that you never knew someone until you saw them through all their emotions.
Angry, sad, disappointed, depressed, passive, the list goes on. Even then, sometimes it can take an entire life just to see one person live through all of these feelings.
When you don't really know someone, you never know the reactions they will have. Assumptions mean nothing beyond the proof.
So how do you really know that the person you sit by everyday in your second period class will not be the person to point a gun to your face?
You don't know. That's what makes it all so exhilarating.
The doctor stared at me contently and I replied with a silent nod. Mason looked a bit weary before he obliged and exited the hospital room.
The short man, who apparently went by 'Dr.Landon' pushed up his glasses and looked down, peering at his clipboard with a seemingly intense gaze.
I cleared my throat, feeling a bit tense and very awkward. He finally met my eyes once again.
"Miss Eilish, I'm afraid there isn't an easy way to put this. Let me just start by giving you the basics of what happened and your current condition and then we'll talk about the serious matter at hand. Let me put your mind at ease by telling you first of all, nothing is physically wrong with you. Your body seems to be in average condition."
He paused to take a breath and looked to see how well I was following with what he was saying. I just nodded, urging him to continue.
"When you were brought in today after passing out, I was given a bottle of pills that I believe belong to you?"
"Yeah. My anxiety medication."
He nodded and scribbled something down on his board. Was he thinking that I tried to overdose or something? I'd only taken two, the recommended amount. Maybe in my haze I'd thought I'd only taken two and I'd taken more?
"You didn't take your anxiety medication."
I stared at him.
"I'm sorry?"
"I have reason to believe someone switched out your medication. We're running tests to see exactly what pills you took, but they caused you to pass out. We know for a fact that they were not your normal medication."
"That's crazy. Are you screwing with me?"
"Wish I was. I'm going to need you to fill out this form and give it to the lady at the desk in the waiting room. After that, you'll be free to go. And we'll also write up a prescription slip for you to get a new bottle of pills. To add, I have to ask you to stay available because this is a very serious matter and we may need to contact you."
