As the three of them stepped inside the Throne Room the sight in front of them was horrifying.A man was on the floor, his skin the same unnatural white with a hint of blue as the previous man's.Goblets of wine and a tray had fallen apparently from his hands with the liquid staining the floor.

The King turned to them as Gaius knelt beside the dead body to check for a pulse."What's happened to him?"
Uther asked after a moment of obversing Gaius.

"I don't know, sire,it's the second case I've seen today."He replied as he looked up at the King and back at the body."Why didn't you report it to me?"he asked immediately as Gaius got up and looked straight at him.Second case today and this time inside the castle surely something wasn't correct here.

"I was attempting to find the cause."
Gaius replied calmly.

"What did you conclude?"

"I don't think it's time to hurry to conclusions.A scientific process is a long one."

"What are you concealing from me?"

"Sire,I have seen nothing like it,the victims are dying in 24 hours and it's spreading fast."

"What is the cause?"A small pause followed.Everyone's eyes were on Gaius after their quite strong conversation.Isabella released a small breath she didn't knew she was holding. That was one heck of an important conversation. She should better get used to it.

"I think we should say the cause, the most likely cause,is...sorcery."he said and every emotion washed from the King's face.Isabella noticed how he paled when the word sorcery was heard. Why did he hate it so much?

The King then motioned to Arthur and pulled him on the side as the two of them got into a hushed conversation together. After they were dismissed from the throne room neither Merlin or Gaius could catch to where Isabella was heading. She quickly stormed off with her hand on the hilt of her sword.A small frown crossed over Merlin's brows.

She herself was wondering what was wrong with her.She couldn't possibly started to have feelings for the warlock could she?Heck it has been barely a month of two she had known him and already she had been acting like this. And especially while this illness was going around the castle.Shaking her head, she walked down the streets of Camelot as soldiers passed beside her. With order from the King the sorcerer needed to be found, and soon.

This kind of magic was powerful and she barely knew one or two people who could use it like this. She had met one of them when she was younger but that person didn't seem like a threat to her.Maybe she was wrong. She had to get answers and she only knew one person. But until then she had to wait patiently until nightfall.

Around her, people were starting to panic due to the soldiers entering their houses with force. They could at least talk to them before entering their private rooms like this.Such cruelty going on around her.She sighed as she made her way deeper into the city.Word had spread quickly about the disease that was threatening the kingdom.Nothing stayed a secret apparently.

Suddenly someone grabbed her ankle and without thinking she unsheathed her sword quickly. Her moves were quick as she pointed her sword down at a poor child. Her expression melted from a stony one to a worried and surprised one.As quickly as she pulled her sword she sheathed it back in its place. She knelt quickly beside him, always keeping her distance though.

The poor child had such pale skin and his eyes had barely any color in them.
She stroked his ginger hair as he looked up at her with pleading eyes.
But there was nothing she could do about it,she couldn't use magic when everyone was suspecting everyone for sorcery. She looked around her, people gave her a dirty look. She was just treating a child. Her temper was rising. How could they ignore this? And especially a child.Yes,the disease was unknown yet but they should of helped somehow.

She tried to take deep breaths to calm her nerves.People could be so selfish when they wanted. She looked at the young boy in front of her whom was shivering now.She removed her cloak from her shoulders and placed it on him.She could of get another one,he needed it more than her right now.
"I'm sorry I can't do much."she said softly as she stroked his hair once more.He didn't say anything, she was sure that he couldn't handle the pain. She got up and said a silent prayer. She couldn't believe a poor child almost died on her arms and there was nothing she could do to relieve him.

Her feet carried her back to the palace. The air she wanted to get was enough.Or more like made her choke. She couldn't believe they had left a child like this out on the cold street. Her face a stony one as she returned Gaius's chambers. The wooden door was opened. She raised a dark eyebrow as she made her way inside as well.Soldiers and the Prince were searching everyone's room in the palace as well, not just the citizens."What are all these books and papers?"Arthur asked as he looked inbetween them.

"My life's work, dedicated to the understanding of science. You are quite welcome to read through them if you wish."Gaius replied just as Isabella stood beside him.Papers flew from the inside small balcony that a soldier was searching."What's happening?"she asked quietly.

Gaius leaned slightly at her side his gaze still at the prince."They are searching everyone and everything for the sorcerer."he replied quietly.
Merlin sat on the side quiet as well.
Their gazes locked for a second before she looked away."What's this room up here?"Arthur asked as he pointed to a door ahead.

"Uh...it's mine."Merlin replied.

"And what do you expect to find in there?"Gaius asked. He was surely trying to find a way for him to not touch the door but apparently the prince had other things on his mind."I'm looking for material or evidence suggesting the use of enchantments."he replied as he opened the door to Merlin's room and got inside.

"What have you done with the magic book I gave you?"she heard Gaius ask Merlin quietly from beside her.As those words left his mouth Arthur's voice popped up."Merlin, come here.
Look what I've found."He didn't waste a second as he dashed for his room.
Gaius and Isabella exchanged a look."I found a place where you can put things. It's called a 'cupboard'."As both Isabella and Gaius heard his reply they both released a breath. That was a close warning.

Isabella moved from Gaius's side to Merlin's room. Her eyes widened as she looked at the disaster state it was in.Clothes were thrown down,so were his shoes. His beds covers were everywhere and just Arthur said his cupboard was not touched."What in the name of the Five Kingdoms!?"she exclaimed as both males turned to look at her with wide eyes."Merlin you better find a good explanation why your room is like this."

"Uh well...-"

"You have to see how your room is after we searched it."Arthur snickered. She turned and gave him a glare, the smirk falling from his face as he looked around. She rolled her eyes.Apparently she had a long day ahead of her before meeting with the person she wanted.Though the real reason she had entered was to give Merlin a few seconds to cover up his magic book. She mouthed a 'You own me' as Arthur left the room.

"How long do you think it may be before you find a cure?"The prince asked as he threw another glance around."Depends on how many interruptions I get."Gaius replied.

"Of course,I'm sorry. We're finished here!"he said loudly as the soldiers left what they were doing and followed after their commander.
Isabella following them as well."And where are you going?"Gaius asked his gaze following her.The brunette turned and looked at the two males with crossed arms."Unlike Merlin I prefer to have my room clean."she said and in matter of seconds she was off for her room.
