I Wish I Could Take That Man' Fancy Ties and Chocke Him With Them

"Hey babe, how was Liam time?"
"Shut up. You know that he is engaged right?"
"  Yeah, but that doesn't mean that we cannot drool over him. I mean that accent and that body, oh la la"
"OMG Sasha, you have a bf. Have some shame"
"Girl, who you talking to?"
And we burst out laughing. That girl could be married with five kids and yet she will have inappropriate thoughts about yummy men.

When we sobered up, I told her everything. How I after helping Liam, I went home to find Jake on my doorstep. And the uncomfortable conversation that ensued.
"Soph... No. We both know what happened when he broke up with you the first time. It almost destroyed you. You cannot let him into your life, and especially you heart. He will walk right out, and leave you to somehow pick up the pieces. We both know how good he is with words. He is the biggest manipulator. I mean he is a scorpio, it's kind of obvious."
"You know Sasha, I have known you my whole life, and I have seen several of your ridiculous fads, but I swear to god, this horoscope one is the worst."
"You know I love you babe, but I never pegged you as a hater. Also stop changing he subject. What did he want?"
"A place to stay." I said as softly as I could.
"The balls on that guy. I hope you said no. You cannot let him live with you. Actually you need to stay completley out of contact with him. I am so proud of how you have picked yourself up. But remember the difficulty you went through to reach this state of mind you are in right now?"
"You are right. That is exactly what I thought. And I prepared this whole speech in my head to tell him off. But there is a slight problem. My mom called right when I was about to do the do. And she filled me in on some other information. Apparently Jake shared his little 'cannot find a place to live' fiasco with his dad, and his dad called my dad about it.My mom overheard and she "casually" relayed the fact that Zora is moving out to Jake's mother. His mother told her husband and the fact that I have a room free reached my dad. You know how he has been since the Jason situation. He hates embarrassment, meaning he hates me. So he offered Jake the apartment. Seems like Jake wanted me to be ok, with his moving in, that is why he came to speak to me."
"1. What was your mom doing at your dads house"
2. Why in the gods name did you tell your mom that you had a room free. She is like the BIGGEST gossip."
"Well, I didn't really think to ask, what she was doing anywhere near my father. I mean they are cordial, but not so much so that they hear each other's conversations. Also I wasn't thinking ok?! It must have slipped out at some point of time. I didn't expect, her to remember anything pertaining to me"
"Hmmm.. yet, Sophia Volesky, you know that you have to say no. There is no argument there."
"There wasn't, till my father threatened to pull the funds for college. And my dear fathers threats are never empty,I have learned that first hand."
"Why is he threatening to pull funds? What has lit a fire under his ass this time? Sorry for being rude and blunt, but that's the softest way I could put it."
"Well, he already promised Jake's dad that he Jake could bunk with me. Father would stop at nothing to impress other people and replace the shame I inflicted upon him."
"Shit Soph, you know that has nothing to do with you right? It wasn't your fault"
"I know Sasha. Don't worry about it."
"I wish I could take that man' fancy ties and chock him with them. You know I would do that in a blink of an eye if I could"
