Tom Austen as Liam ANd Alexandra Park as Lola. Could they BE more perfect
Chapter 3
Upon double checking the building name, and making sure that I was at the right place, I stepped out of the lift, carrying two, now cold, coffee cups. Liam's door was the first one to the right, clearly by all the boxes and the only open door.
"Hey!" I called out. "I bought coffee. Super sweet, no cream just the way you like it"
"Thanks. This is my first cup of the day you know."
"Bull.Shit" Liam loved coffee just as much as did. Our love bordered on addiction. So this being his first cup was a BIG thing.
"Yeah, I wanna get the place ready before Lola comes."
"When is she reaching here?"
"Tonight"
"Talk about procrastination"
"Yeah, yeah. Like you are the best organizer. Now move it. There is a lot of work to be done."
There was only one thing in this entire world that would draw Liam out of bed before 1 on a holiday, make him miss coffee, and work. That was Lola. His fiancée. Now you would probably say at this point that 1.Poor me, I like a practically married man or 2. what a slut, she practically hits on a married man or 3. both. But the thing is that me and Liam did try to date, once but we had like NO chemistry. Like none, nada. And this happened months before he met Lola, so we laughed it off and remained best friends.
After about 5 more hours of continuous working with a fifteen minute lunch break, we were done. The apartment was perfect and we were sweating like a unshaved husky in the middle of may. Liam had to go shower (he was stinking worse than a pig) before picking up Lola so I bid him farewell and walked home. I was dreaming about that nice bubble bath I would take as soon as I reached home, when i saw a familiar figure sitting next to my door, head bent. As soon as he heard my steps he straightened and got up ruffling his very dark brown very soft hair. Jake.
Oh. shit.Hey guys!!
Hit that star and make my day!!
