Daryl Dixon imagine

- took this out of my other imagines book -

Theme: fluff, Christmas, cute, happy.
Place: the prison
Requested?: no.

It was around Christmas time and you had been in the prison since rick and the group cleared it, you had been in the group since the beginning and there was no one you adored more than Daryl.

He knew what you was like, always crossing off days on the calendar, that was..until you lost it. You both were on a run and ended up dropping it, it was already covered in mud and guts.

You had always loved Christmas as a kid and not being able to celebrate it any more killed you inside.

You was resting in your cell as Daryl walked in.

"Hi." He smiled, parking his ass on the end of the bed.

"Hey, sup?"

"I um..know how much you liked Christmas, and I know that loosin that calendar was a bummer for ya." Daryl was eyeing you like a hawk. "So, merry christmas."

Daryl handed you a box, wrapped up in a bloody tissue.
Your heart melted, it meant a lot to you knowing that he went out of his way to get you something.

Ripping off the tissue you opened the box to find a beautiful sparkly necklace, with a heart locket.

"Daryl...I" you began, looking at it.

Daryl picked it up and placed it around your neck.

"It's a shame we can't get pictures in it. I'll ask Glenn if I can borrow that camera of his." He smiled, kissing your forehead.

You loved Daryl, more than anything and you thought that now would be the time to tell him.

"Daryl." You said, before he walked out.

"Ye?" He looked over his shoulder.

"I love you. More than anything in this world." You said softly, you walked up to him and kissed him softly.

"Merry Christmas."

A/N - thank you for all the votes, comments and reads it all means so much to me and I'm very grateful!
