Kat and Jax sat in her truck in the cemetary parking lot, she nor Jax said anything to eachother the entire ride there

"Five minutes starts now Jax" Kat said as she turned the key into the off postion on the truck

"Im sorry I hurt you" Jax said quietly as he looked straight ahead "Im sorry for making you go through everything alone when I should of been there, Im sorry I am such a monster that you now hate. But I want my kit kat back, the one that didn't care what the world thought of her, the one that had no problem putting me in my place and telling me when I fucked up" Jax said

"I've been broken too many times Jax, especially by you the one that was supposed to be there for me till the end but you broke that trust" Kat said looking at Jax

"I know, and I shouldnt have done that, I know I fucked up Kat and I will pay for the rest of my life because of it" Jax said quietly

Kat knew that the rules were to stand by her man but there came a point that she couldnt anymore, Kat Teller held the matriarch title after Gemma passed six years ago from cancer, and it was a hard title to hold. Sure she still showed up at the garage every day but she wouldnt speak with Jax who was never really there anyway "Did you ever think about what you took away from me? Both of my sons and you took away my heart, all because you wanted some new pussy. Do you know how that feels Jax? To have the one thing that you needed the most walk away from you?" Kat asked

"Yeah I do, remember you walked out on me Kat. I know exactly what you are feeling and it sucks, it sucks for me because when I need you I cant come to you anymore because you will just slam the door in my face" Jax said

"Because you always do this Jax, how long were you really screwing around on me before I caught you" Kat asked as she started to feel the tears form in her eyes

"Not long. But i think you knew before I started screwing up" Jax said

"I did, I knew the first night it happened but I wanted to pretend it didnt happen for a long time but then it kept happening and then I knew my marriage was falling apart" Kat said as she swatted away a tear

"I should of never done it and I am sorry, I still love you Kat just as much as I did twenty years ago" Jax said as he cautiously moved his hand and wiped away a tear that was falling from Kat's face

"I dont understand why I still love you after everything you did to me" Kat whimpered as she felt Jax's arms wrap around her

Since Jax had known Kat she never cried this hard, even after Piney and Opie died, Jax knew that he had broken her into a million pieces and there was a slim chance that they were ever going to re kindle anything "Im so sorry babe" Jax said as he kissed the top of her head

"Why couldn't you just stay with me Jax? Why did you have to do this to me, It kills me knowing that you aren't coming home to me at night, it kills me that someone else has you" Kat cried harder

Jax felt his world shatter, his wife was crying and there was nothing he could do or say to her to make anything better "Im sorry" Jax said as he pulled her tighter into his arms

After a short while Jax offered to drive Kat home because she was so worked up she began hyperventalting and he didn't want her to crash the truck, Once Jax pulled into the driveway he looked over at Kat who was sleeping. Carefully Jax picked Kat up bridal style out of the truck and brought her into the house and down the hall to the bedroom where he laid her down on the bed

"Dont go please" Kat whispered as she grabbed Jax's hand, Jax toed his shoes off and slipped his kutte off his shoulders and climbed on the bed behind Kat and wrapped his arms around her waist as she scooted back to be closer to him

Jax wasn't sure how long he was asleep for but it was pitch dark in the bedroom when he opened his eyes, sitting up and looking around in the dark he smelt something coming from the kitchen looking at the clock he saw it was almost midnight, when he got back to the house it was only two in the afternoon. Sleeping next to Kat always made him sleep better but he didn't realize exactly how tired he really was

Jax walked out to the kitchen to see Kat standing at the stove with her back to him, stirring something in a pot. Jax leaned against the fridge and watched her it was like it was when they first got together and every day after where Jax would stand in the doorway and watch her cook for a few moments before he made his presence known. Jax knew he was going to walk into this no knowing what the outcome was going to be but he decided to take a chance and go for it. Slowly Jax walked up behind Kat and snaked his arms around her waist as his head rested on her shoulder, just like it always did

Kat bit her lip as she tried not to smile, butterflies fluttering around in her stomach just like they did years ago "Sleep good?" Kat asked as she felt Jax's lips on her neck

"You have no idea, was a little sad that you weren't there when I woke though" Jax said as she planted a kiss on her neck again

"I got hungry and hopefully thought you would be too" Kat said as she turned the burner off and turned around to face Jax

Kat brought her hands up to Jax's face and tried to read his eyes but they were a clouded mystery just like they were before, she wasn't sure what Jax was trying to do but she couldn't deny the fact that she still found her husband incredibly sexy

Jax dipped his head down and placed his lips on Kat's hoping that she wasn't going to reject him, Jax didn't remember her lips being this soft, but it had been three long months that he hadn't been able to kiss his wife. Jax deepened the kiss and moved away from the stove, picking Kat up with her legs wrapping around his waist he brought her back to the bedroom and slammed the door closed behind him, neither of them caring that dinner was going to spoil
