Betty (POV)
I was sat crying by my window why did I think Archie would love me? Why would anyone love me? Why would anyone want to be friends with me I mean? My train of thought was interrupted by taping on my door "go away!" I shouted "it's me Jughead"I sighed with relief. I went and opened the door. "Hi how you doing?" Jughead asked I just rolled my eyes and continued crying.
Jughead and I had been friends forever since we were young. But I still didn't tell him about the cuts.
Jughead (POV)
I'm here to check if she's ok but also because she's hiding something from. When I'm here I can figure it out my first thought was cutting seen as when you look at her she tugs her sleeves down. But no Betty would tell me so I don't think that. Then I thought she had a boyfriend but then came Archie's so I'm all out.
"Why are you here?" She wailed "to see if your ok and clearly your not." I could see the anxiety in her face. "Betty I can practically feel your anxiety what is it?" I asked in a worried tone.
"Jug it's nothing I swear "she sobbed "Anyway why do you care?" I was shocked were best friends.
"Seriously we're best friends."
Betty knew why I was here I could tell.
Veronica's (POV)
I'm walking to Betty's house when I see her crying at the window. I ran to her house and ran into her room to find Jughead. " Hi Betty you ok?oh Hi Jughead" I waved. "Hi v yeah I'm doing ok but still upset." She looked so upset I was heart broken at the fact that Archie would do this to her IM GOGING TO SLAP HIM! "What v?" I must of said that out loud "oh nothing." I had a fake smile.
I start to leave after a long chat with Betty. But when I'm outside Jughead stops me. "Is Betty hiding something from you?" "Jughead she wouldn't." No she isn't I found out about the cuts and swore not to tell anyone so I don't tell Jughead. "And no she's not and she's not hiding something from you either," I say taking him of me the I walk home.
Betty (POV)
It's the middle of the night and I walked down the stairs careful not wake my parents. I go to the knife draw and get the biggest one. I find the right space and cut over a healed scare. I sat there crying getting blood everywhere. Then I cut the other wrist I then bandaged it up cause I felt bad. Then went to bed. I woke up my mom was screaming I ran down stairs. "BETTY WHAT DID YOU DO!" She says genuinely worried. "Nothing." I say putting on a confused face. Then I see the knife and the blood.
"Mom I came down to get food and got that out and it slightly cut me ok?" My mom looked relived I didn't have my bandages on any more. I then went to school,with a fake smile plastered across my face.
