Betty was alone at school Jughead was at south side high, Archie was at a music lesson with Grundy and Veronica was cheering up Ethel with Kevin. Everyone was doing something and Betty was sat alone eating her lunch.
Out of nowhere Jughead came and sat in front of Betty. She was surprised. I mean wouldn't you your boyfriend from the other side of town just sits in front of you. Well any way there conversion went like "why do you look so surprised to see me Bets?"
"Because you are supposed to be at south side high."
"Oh right I forgot to mention."
"What?"
"Well I am living at my dads trailer and the foster family is covering for me."
"Ok."
"I will still go to south side but I'm not living in a foster home."
"Well that's good isn't it. Have you made any friends there?"
"Yeah one she's also a serpent her name is Toni Topaz."
"Cool." Betty said but Jughead could identify the jealousy in her voice.
"Betty I don't like her like that she's just a friend I swear."
"I know it's just ever since going there you haven't been spending time with me like I'm not your girlfriend or something."
"Betty you are definitely my girlfriend and I wouldn't change that for anyone or anything."
"Jug you always say that but for some reason I don't believe you."
"Why not?"
"I couldn't tell you as I really don't know."
"Betty please tell me."
"I wish I could but I don't know so I can't why don't you believe me anymore?"
"Because you don't believe me."
"Girl troubles?" Cheryl said as she sat down at there table. "If I remember correctly Jughead you are supposed to be at the south side high not Riverdale high."
"Cheryl."
"What Betty?"
"Could you please leave us alone now that you've said all you need to say?"
"But I haven't said everything Betty sweetheart."
"Do not call me that."
"Whatever. Jughead let me tell you now if you think I will testify on your fathers behalf you are wrong. Where was he when they dragged the river? Hiding the body so no I will not and that's final. Have a nice day."
"She is a stone cold bitch."
"Any Bets I should probably leave for two reasons. (1) they are expecting me back soon. And (2) clearly nobody at this school wants anything to do with me or me to stay. So bye Bets."
"Please stay with me Jug I want you hear."
"Bets your lying you just told me you didn't believe me now you want me to stay." He was being quite harsh even if it was accidental.
"Fine leave as you said clearly no one wants you here so leave." She snapped back with the same harsh tone.
"Betty what the hell first you don't believe me then you want me to stay now you want me to leave?"
"I said leave so you leave or I swear to god I will drag you out by your ear."
Betty suddenly woke up "thank his that was a dream." She mumble and went to school.
