A boney pale hand softly pushed the rusted gate open making it groan at the sudden movement with six long strides the tall pale figure reached door.
"Bombarda." The figure whispered in a low voice, raising his wand. A sickening smirk graced his thin lips as the wooden door was blown apart.
"HIS HERE! ROSE HIS HERE TAKE THE KIDS AND HIDE!" Charles Evans, Lilly Potters father yelled and even though he was a muggle he stood confidently infront of the stairs in order to protect his grandchildren and wife "You shall not pass!"
Wordlessly the dark lord aimed his wand at the spot where the graying Evans heart was "Avada Kadavra!" He yelled dramatically as a jet of green light blinded the room and just like that Mr Evens was no more, his limp body crumbled to the wooden floor.
The formally known Tom Riddle strod up the creaking wooden stairs towards a large white door, decorated with the different names of the children. "Bombarda." He wispered yet again as the wooden door was blown apart.
"STAY AWAY FROM THEM YOU MONSTER STAY AWAY FROM THE CHILDREN!" Rose Evans yelled trying to shield the young children with her elderly frame.
Voldemort sneered at her in disgust, simply aiming his wand at her. "Avarda kadavra!" and just like her husband the women dropped to the floor lifelessly.
"Now which one of you is the demon child." His cold calculating eyes narrowed at the eldest child Harry, his unruly brown hair standing up at all ends, trails of tears ran uncontrollably down his face as he stared at his Grandmother's lifeless body.
'Maybe.' the dark lord thought before moving on the next child Charles Potter who was sleeping whist sucking his thumb, this child looked to be nothing special, but looks could be deceiving. He was a true Potter, brown unruly hair, brown eyes and even at a young age, glasses lay upon the bridge of his nose.
The dark lord walked up to him and with his long bony finger scratched a jagged line into the boys cheek out of curiosity, only breaking the first layer of skin, his theory had to be tested. Thin lines of crimson liquid dripped from the wound and onto the white pillow he slept on. Voldemorts eyes narrowed as the child slept on, not even flinching at the pain, the child was promising.
"I'll have to kill them all." he grumbled annoyed as he turned his snake like head to gaze at the only Potter girl, her fiery red hair, strings of curls dangled in front of her mesmerizing green eyes.
Victoria was staring at him with her uniquely beautiful Avarda kadavra green eyes, which seemed to hold knowledge beyond her years, unlike her brothers who seemed to have the mental capacity of a fish. The youngest red headed baby held out her two chubby arms for the Dark Lord, a toothless grin spread across her face as she looked at her grandmother then back at the man. She seemed overly excited to see the man who came to kill her.
'I'll start with the girl. . .' he smirked, something about her, just send excitement coursing through his veins, it was almost like adrenaline. He dismissed it, probably his exitment from finally having no worthy opponents.
With that last thought he lifted up his wand once more but this time with much more force yelled uttered the word of the killing curse.
Seconds after he shot the spell and the glowing light had died down, his blackened eyes locked with that of Victoria's bright green ones. He could see his past, present and future. The girl in question now had a lightning shaped scar on her tiny forehead that glowed a soft green, the powerful wizard felt a wave of shock run throughout his body before his paper like skin began to burn, he felt like he was on fire, the dark lord dropped to the ground in pain, clutching at his head which he thought could burst at any given moment, it felt like pure magic was eating at him.
He had no time to react as his body disappeared in a swirl of black, leaving only the echo of his screams. The only sound that could be heard throughout the manor was the loud wails of two babies and the soft whimpers of another.
Many hours later the parents of the children arrived home after Lilly had given birth to her precious little Rosie Potter, Lilly was laughing softly at a joke James had told her as they walked through the front door, completely unaware of what had happened. Lilly held Rosie close to her chest, she could not believe she had another baby, the healers had said it was almost impossible to have even one child. But here she stood, her fourth and final child, cradled in her arms.
" James can you go check on the front yard for any wards or breaches, I'm going to put Rosie to bed. " The mother of four whispered to her husband as to not wake her youngest daughter, giving him a peck on his lips before walking into the living room. A gasp broke from her lips as she rushed forwards towards where she saw her deceased father.
"Da---Daddy?" She cried kneeling over his body tears streaming down her cheeks as she held Rosie close to her body, the newborn stirred in her sleep and soon joined in on her mother's wails.
" JAMES! " She yelled out as her husband rushed into the room, hearing her cry from the back of their garden.
"The kids!" James whispered to himself as he rushed up the stairs taking them two at a time before shoving through the white door, he sighed in relief as he saw them still in their cribs, safe.
His mud brown eyes scanned over their cribs before his eyes settled on Charles or more specifically his cheek where Voldemort had created a jagged gash which would scar. The prophecy is coming true.
"Lilly call Albus" the father of four yelled picking up Charles a deep worry etched onto his face, as the other two children slept peacefully, unaware of how that moment impacted their futures. Victoria's unruly curly hair fell over her forehead as she slept, covering the scar.
