Dear :
Victoria Cloudia Potter

It is an honour to accept Victoria Potter into our prestigious school. She will be collected tomorrow afternoon at twelve O'clock by one of our schools  representatives, Victoria will be staying at the castle over the duration of her schooling career and is only allowed to come back on Christmas break if she wishes. We have strict rules that she would have to adhere to, if she breaks the codes, your daughter will be expelled and sent home immediately.

After mom finished reading I could feel the shocked stares of my brothers and cold glare of my sister on my back. Durmstrang was a prestigious school and it seemed I was the only Potter in years to be accepted. It was rarely heard of for an English child to go to Durmstrang due to Hogwarts being closer and parents having more confidence in the school as they attended it themselves at one point or another.

"Please mum please!" I pleaded in a soft voice, looking up at her tired face. She truly did everything for us, four kids was alot, especially since she had to put a lot of attention on Charles, Harry and Rosie. I think me going away would help her cope alot more and she can put her focus into training and caring for them better.

"What do you think James?" Our mum asked, putting the letter down on the table top, giving me a soft smile as she went back to her dishes.

"Wha- yes yes of course." Dad grinned happily at mum before giving her a kiss on her rosey cheeks. "I'll see ya later, my love. "

Yeah. . .I don't think he was listening.

Mum sighed, turning around to face her three children who sat, arguing over who got the last piece of bacon. " I think it will be good for you."

And with that she grabbed my siblings empty plates from the table and washed them, grabbing Charles' hand, who grabbed Harry's who grabbed Rosie's. They were going to Diagon ally to get school supplies. "Are you sure you don't want to come with, sweetie?"

"I'm sure mum, I think I'm going to get my supplies by the school." I grinned at her as she and my siblings disappeared, Charles glaring at me as they did.

Snort.

That guy has issues, I have done nothing wrong, yet he hates me.

"Mixy! could you come here for a second please." I yelled as I took a seat on Charles's abandoned chair, yawning as I did. The twins kept me up for almost three days, planning pranks.

With a poof of smoke my personal house elve appeared, I had given her a jersey when I was seven, mum was mad but I always hated that they were like slaves, Mixy was too loyal so she stayed, always wearing that old, tattered jersey. "What can Mixy get for Misstress?"

"Well i would need you to apparate me to  The Leaky Cauldron." I asked politely, smiling at the elf. I wanted to go get my uniform, it was the only thing it stated I must get, and honestly I'd rather not go with my family, they always seemed to forget me places. Last year I was stuck wondering through Diagon Ally for seven hours after they left, that's how I met the twins.

"Of course Mistress, Mixy will take you, Mixy is a good house-elf !"

"Well then, thank you so much Mixy, I'll call you when I need to get home." I grabbed Mixys little grey hand, it felt as if I were squeezed through space and time before landing on the ground just outside the leaky cauldron I pushed down yesterday's dinner that was threatening to come back up and tried to stand up straight without falling over and making a fool of myself.

"That always gets me." I sighed brushing off the tiny specks of dust and walked inside the old rundown pub  "Tom!" I grinned, looking up at the tall owner "Could you please open up the doorway to Diagon Ally?" I asked politely as I could, he always knew of my little trips I'd take, mostly to visit the pet store, magical animals were always breathtaking.

He simply nodded at me before walking towards the back of the pub, empty butter beer bottles lay around along with shards of glass from broken plates, most of it was shoved into the coronors, trying to give off a neat appearance. Tom was one of the few people who actually acknowledged my existence and didn't seem to forget me.

With a simple pattern of tapping his wand on the chipped bricks they started to rearrange themselves untill it revealed Diagon Ally, my home away from home.
