Nothing that exciting happened in the two months running up to Christmas, a few texts here and there, lots and lots of work and oh yeah, my birthday. My birthday is in the beginning of December and I find it pretty hard to get excited for my birthday with all the stress of Christmas looming.
By the time my birthday had come around we were all pretty good friends and made a good little friendship group of eight, as my birthday is so close to Christmas we simply decided to go out for cocktails the night after my birthday. I spent my actual birthday with my family, we went out for breakfast and then out again for dinner, yeah we really love food.
Going out for cocktails seems like its going to be a really classy event and don't get me wrong we all looked lovely and classy but a few cocktails down the line there was no class in anyone of us. We were drinking Mojitos, bloody Mary's, Margaritas and let me tell you they were delicious. As tradition for our little group we then went to McDonalds the following morning to help cure our hangovers. You'll be pleased to know that I didn't have to take Rosie swimming the following day.

A few weeks later and Christmas was fast approaching and I had some Christmas shopping to do, the only thing putting my off of this is how busy town is going to be and I have I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to buy people.
I got out of bed and got straight in the shower. once finished I the shower I got out and got dressed and applied my normal make up, grabbed a cereal bar and made my way into town.
Once I got into town I parked the car and made the short walk to the centre of town. I started off with going into Game as the one person who was easy to buy for was my younger brother Jack, he was obsessed with his Xbox so the best present for him is a new Xbox game. The next person I had to buy for was pretty easy as well, Rosie. Rosie is my favourite person to buy for because she's only little she stills plays with toys and I love buying toys for her and see her appreciate them. I went into Entertainer for Rosie's present, she's obsessed with superman at the minute so I got her a little superman costume and a buggy to go with the baby doll that mum and dad have brought her for Christmas. Next I brought my dad a golfing watch that he really wanted and mum some new clothes and her favourite perfume and then I also brought my grandparents of both sides a lovely little plant for the garden as they are all keen gardeners. I dropped all of the presents that I had already brought back to the car and then carried on shopping. Next I had to buy for my friends, I decided that I would get all the girls the same thing and all of the boys the same thing, I just wasn't sure what to get them. after about half an hour of searching I decided on getting all of the girls (Zoe, Lola and Lucy) a little pamper kit with some chocolates, face mask, hair mask, bath bomb, nail varnish and a couple small bottles of wine. For the Boys (Oliver, Harry and Charlie) I brought some chocolate bars, some miniature bottles of alcohol, and some sweets. I have only got everyone small gifts because that's what we all decided as a group as there are so many of us. I finally brought some wrapping paper and cello tape and then went to the car and drove home.
Once I got home I start wrapping all of the presents before all of my friends come round tomorrow for a movie and present swapping. while wrapping the presents for my friends I make sure I get all of the other presents wrapped because tomorrow is Christmas eve and my friends will be coming round and then when they've gone with got my grandparents coming round for the night so I will not have anytime.

I had half an hour until everyone was coming round so I decided to get all of the snacks ready on the table with some drinks, I had brought bottles of coke, lemonade and Fanta and then some cheese balls, Hoola hoops and some Doritos and also some Harribo. I also had some Christmas films out ready including Elf, A Christmas Carol , and The Polar Express (which is my personal favourite).I also got everybody's presents out ready to give to them. When everyone got to my house we decided to put The Polar Express on the TV while we were giving all the presents. From Zoe I got some new Pyjamas, Lola brought some earrings, Charlie brought a new t-shirt, Lucy - make up, Oliver brought a movie night in a box, Harry brought DVDs and finally Alfie brought us all miniature bottles of alcohol.
We carried on watching a few more Christmas films until about 3pm when we wished each other a lovely Christmas and then everyone left as my family were arriving at 4pm.
The rest of my family arrived at about 4pm, we played some board games and then had some dinner and went to bed waiting for Father Christmas to arrive.

"Wake up wake up wake up" Rosie screamed in my face at 6am which is pretty good as when Jack was 4 he used to have me up at 4:30am on Christmas morning.
Firstly we got up and went to our mum and dads room where we opened our stockings, we then got showered and dressed and went downstairs. When we got downstairs we had some breakfast and then began opening our presents, this is why all our families stay round on Christmas Eve because we all get so excited and cannot wait to open our presents so it saves time.
After opening our presents we went out for Christmas lunch then came home and played board games all evening.
It really was a great Christmas.
