Day trips

I was sat in  Nando's having a chicken burger with My younger brother Jack. We were talking about how it would be nice to go out for the day with Alfie and his younger sister Sophie. The last time Sophie and Jack met when we all went to Pizza Hut together they hit it off quite well and Alfie and myself were becoming really close friends so it would be nice to do something together, we were throwing ideas between the two of us but noting was really jumping out at us.

"Gravity force? It's quite fun there"  I stated

"Nahh, then we've got to take Rosie and that's just hard work" Jack replied.

"Don't be so mean, she's your little sister" I reply hitting him on the shoulder. "

"Okay okay sorry, what about Cinema?"

"Boringgggg" I laughed

"for goodness sake Aims, You decide then."

"London zoo" I said excitedly

"No"

"Go Ape"

"Too cold"

"London for the day?" I mention

Jack groans "Noooo, then we will have to go shopping, there is no way I'm going shopping with you and two people I hardly know."

"fine, what about Thorpe Park?"

"lets do it, I've not been to Thorpe park in a long time"

"hallelujah, I'll text Alf now" I laughed 

"ooh got nicknames for the boy have you now, you sure your not dating, ill have to have a word with him." he joked.

"Are you forgetting that your are 7 years younger than him, I'm not sure he'd take any notice of you" I giggled.

"Ill have you know, I can be scary when I want to."

"sure thing" I laughed

Me: Heyy, do you wanna go Thorpe park at the weekend, with Jack and I, bring Sophie along as well.

We carried on chatting for a bit longer about this and that.. the mainly the new lady in Jack's life. She probably won't be in his life for much longer he's not got a good reputation with the Ladies, but then again he's 15, he's hardly going to get himself into a super serious relationship.

Once we finished at Nando's we walk back to the car and drove home as we are driving home my phone starts ringing.

"Jack answer my phone it's ringing" I yelled over the sound of Ed Sheeran playing through my speakers, I turned the music down to hear Jack's reply.

"piss off, its not my phone, you answer it." he replied

"I cant, I'm driving you twat, Answer it." I replied just as my ring tone died down.

"twat." I mumbled under my breath.

We sat in silence for the rest of the 10 minute journey home, once we got home I shouted a quick hello to my family and ran up the stairs to phone back the person who called me.

I looked at my phone and I smiled seeing that it was in fact Alfie who had rang me, I called him back.

*Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring*

"You just can't keep away from me can you, always thinking of new reasons to meet up with me" I could practically see the smirk on his face.

"You're hilarious" I muttered back sarcastically.

" I know, I know anyway, when you thinking of going? I'm in"

"Good, we are thinking of going on Saturday. by the way, sorry I didn't answer the phone, I was driving and the twat that I call my brother wouldn't answer it."

"That's alright, Saturday is fine, I'll pick you both up at 10:30?" he replied

"Okie Dokie, see you then, have a good week."

"Bye" he muttered before putting down the phone.

I quickly had a shower and then went to bed.

On Saturday Morning I woke up at 9.00am, giving me enough time to have a shower, get ready and then have some breakfast before Alfie picks us up at 10:30. I quickly jumped in the shower and washed my hair. After having a shower I quickly dried myself off and then went over to my wardrobe. I was going to wear comfy clothes that wouldn't take a long time to dry if we decided to go on the water rides. I decided on wearing a pair of black leggings, a whote t-shirt with navy stripes and then a denim shirt with the buttons undone. I dried an straightened my hair and then applied some simple make up. By the time I was ready it was about 10:00am, so I checked that Jack was getting ready and then went down and made myself some toast to watch while watching the TV. about 10 minutes later Jack joined me on the sofa also eating a slice of toast.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, Jack jumped up to answer it while I turned the TV of, closed the window and came out closing the lounge door behind me.

"Hello, Hello" I smiled at Alfie.

"hello, you both ready? Sophie and I are so excited." he laughed.

"JACK, LETS GO" I shouted up the stairs to Jack who had gone to clean his teeth.

"so excited" I laughed

As soon as Jack came back downstairs we left the house and went to get into the car. As Sophie was already in the car Jack and I sat in the back, Sophie puts her Ed Sheeran CD in the player and turns it up which gets a groan from both Jack and Alfie but a slight cheer from me.

we arrive at Thorpe Park at about 11:45, we jump out of the car and queue to get our tickets, one thing I really hate to do is queue, but I'm going to have to get usedto it today seen as we'vecome to a very popular theme park that looks very busy today. After about 15 minutes we had our tickets and were walking through the front gates.

The first ride we decided on going on was Storm serge. Strom Serge is a ride where you sit in a little raft and you go down a big water slide spinning round and round until you get to the bottom. luckily the queue was only 35 minutes long, whereas some of the others were more like 90 minutes.

Next, Alfie decided we were going to go on Colossus, I was getting quite excited now because we were getting to the actual roller-coaster. Colossus is a ride where there is a vertical loop, a cobra roll, a double corkscrew and also a quadruple barrel roll, so it is safe to say I was really excited, even though the queue was 60 minutes long. As we started getting closer to the front of the queue Sophie's face got paler and paler until she resembled a ghost.

"You alright Soph?" I asked putting my arm round her shoulder.

"I can't do it, what if I die? they might not do my belt up. what is it comes of the rails on the loops, what if...no, I cant. I'll be bag lady" she rambles.

Jack and Alfie look as if they are trying to hold in their laughter at Sophie's rambling.

"you're going to be fine, you can do this" I encourage her.

As we get right to the front of the queue she once again panics and says she cant go on just in case anything bad happens.

"Oh Soph, will you shut up? sit with Amiee she will look after you" Alfie moans

After Colossus we decided on going to Burger king for lunch, which Alfie treated us to, which was great. After lunch we went on the rapids to help settle our stomachs befre going on anymore of the big rides. After the rapids we went on Stealth, Swarm, Nemesis Inferno, Saw and also Tidal Wave.

After we got soaking wet on tidal wave we decided it was time to go home and order dominos to our house.

When we got home we ordered 1 large pepperoni pizza and 1 meat feast pizza, Which we soon devoured.

I ready had the best day today and I couldn't think of anyone else I would have wanted to spend it with.

Hello; sorry I've not updated my story in such a long time I got sucked into reading stories on wattpad but I'm back now :) I go back to work full time tomorrow so uploads will be slightly slow...hopefully going to update on a Friday night/Saturday/Sunday :)
