Abducted Then Adopted

He Followed us

"Stop, stop," I say running out of breath. "I think where far enough," I say putting my hands on my knees breathing heavily in and out. "Come on Bella we can't stop know, look there's an abandoned building just two more blocks from here." I nod weakly saying 'ok'.

"Finally." I say still catching my breath "We made it." I take a look around the building and I find some chairs. "Hey look, Zoe."  She turns and looks at me also out of breath. "What?" she says. "Chairs," I point to the corner, then I go over to get them and set them under us. We sit down, "wow," I say "running really makes you tired"

Zoe starts laughing, "of course dodo bird," I laugh with her, then I start to drift off. Out of nowhere Zoe screams. "Bella!" I look at her, her face started to go pale. And her eyes were staring at something with which seemed to terrify her. I follow her eyes. And then the color from my faced drained. I looked up only to see the one man I never wanted to see again.

"Oh my goodness h-he followed us!" I say terrified. He stood in the doorway which was our only way out. There were no windows, no other doors. Just that one exit that he just happened to be blocking. So we couldn't escape. He looks at me and laughs, "I finally found you," his laugh calms down to a smile. I was so scared it felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest at any minute.

I see Zoe slide out of her chair while he wasn't looking. Out of nowhere, she attacked him, knocking him down right on the concrete floor. Kneeling him right in his jewels. He groans clutching his man area rolling around on the floor. As he's paying attention to his man bits we made a run for it.

We didn't stop either, the fear that he'd catch us again was just too much for us to be tired from running. Our adrenaline was up, pushing our legs to take us far away. We finally had to come to a stop I felt tears but I quickly wiped them away. I couldn't cry I had to stay strong. It started to get dark and we didn't know where to go. So, we started to walk again I started to get so hungry I grabbed my stomach and Zoe realized that she was hungry too, "come on."

"Let's sneak something from the store," I would always find change on the streets so I would save it so we wouldn't look suspicious. So I would by like pieces of candy while Zoe grabbed things like chips, drinks stuff like that as she we walk in the store I go up to get me some candy while Zoe went in the back and did her thing. "Here you go, sir," I say handing him the change. But he kept a close eye on Zoe. "Hey is that your friend?" he said with an Italian accent, "yes sir," I say warily starting to think he was on to us. "Hey!"  He yells. "you gonna pay for that young lady?"

All of a sudden Zoe runs out of the store I run too. "hey! Get back here!" the man yells but we kept running. As we get about 3 blocks from the store into a somewhat big open field. We settle down and start laughing.  "Wow that was close," I breathe, laughing and trying to catch my breath at the same time.
"Yeah, it was,"  says Zoe. Looking at her bag which is pretty full I ask her, "you get anything good?" She smirks and says "would I ever disappoint." She empties her bag.

All types of candy, snacks, and drinks fall out. My eyes dazzle at all the goodies. "Wow, you really did get the good stuff," I say smiling. We dig into eating chips and drinking soda. I don't know what I would do without Zoe and I don't know what she would do without me. As we finish we lay down on Zoe's bag and look up at the stars. A couple of minutes later I hear light snoring coming from Zoe. I smile to myself self but as I'm starting to close my eyes I felt a cloth go over my mouth. I look up wide-eyed as I saw who it was, "I found you, princess," he says quietly. Then everything goes black...

Oh no he found her and now he has her but will she get away from him or will he make her life a living hell?
