it was the hour of physical education, and the teacher paired us into groups. in the distance, i see y/n laughing with a boy in her group.

ugh, why would she like him? he's ugly.

i keep taking glances and see if she's still laughing with the boy. i roll my eyes.

"daniel? daniel?"

"h-huh?"

"are you even listening?"

"yeah—"

"owww!", i hear a scream. i look over and see y/n on the ground. i quickly stop what i'm doing and run over to her.

"what did you do?!", i yell at the boy. he steps back.

"daniel, i-i'm fine, really."

"no, you're not.", i give her a piggy back ride.

"let's get you to the nurse."

"hold on tight."

"okay.", i hear her. i flinch as she places her head at the crook of my neck and holds me tighter. i smile.

"aish, what a big cut you have. tsk tsk."

i grab the medical kit and fix her wound.

she groans as i pour alcohol on it.

"s-sorry."

i carefully pat it. i could see her staring at me in my peripheral vision. i try to keep calm, and place a hello kitty themed band-aid on the cut.

"and you're all finished.", i say.

"thank you.", i feel y/n's lips on my cheek.

"y-yah. w-hat. you can't—"

she kisses me again on the other cheek.

"i like you so much.", i blurt. i rub the back of my neck. she laughs.

"don't worry, me, too.", she finally kisses my lips. as we pull back, i intertwine my hands with her. i make circles around her skin with my thumb.

"i'm so happy i met you."
