32. GRAND GALA (PT.1)

Donghyuck and Mark were in the bedroom still sleeping until there's a knock on the door. After that, Mark fluttered his eyes open and looked at Donghyuck sleeping peacefully. He groaned as he got up from the bed while rubbing his eyes and open the door.

A gasp heard from a woman's voice, making Mark widened his eyes.

'Who are you?' The woman asked and eyed him suspiciously. Mark didn't know what to do until Donghyuck woke up from his sleep and looked directly at the door. His eyes widened as he got up from the bed quickly.

'Mom!' Donghyuck called and he hugged the woman, who apparently his mom.

'Aigooo, Hyuckie-ah.' His mom hugged him back. After that, they broke the hug and his mom looked at Mark, still in suspicious.

'Hyuckie, who's this?'

'Oh, he's erm ... my friend.' Donghyuck said unsurely.

'Is it your boyfriend or just a friend?'

'Mom, I can explain about this. He's my -'

'Well, why didn't you said so? You should let me know about this sweetie.' His mom cut him off and smiled.

'Huh?' Donghyuck looked at his mom in confusion.

'You finally got yourself a boyfriend!' His mom exclaimed in joy. Mark just stood there confused.

'What ... You didn't angry about this?'

'Why should I? Let me tell your dad first.' His mom sprinted away happily, leaving those two dumbfounded. After that, they went downstairs quickly and saw Donghyuck's parents at the living room.

'Oh, there they are.' His mom pointed at them. Then the man turned looked at them.

'Dad!' Donghyuck called as he ran towards the man and hugged him.

'Aigooo, my son.' His dad hugged him back tightly. After that, they broke the hug and Donghyuck just giggled.

'Who's that young man over there?' His dad asked while looking at Mark.

'He's -'

'He's our son's boyfriend honey!' His mom cut him off again.

'Hm? Your boyfriend?' His dad looked at Donghyuck. Then Donghyuck sighed and nodded his head, afraid that his dad will be so upset about it. After that, he felt someone patted his head and lifted his head up.

'Dad?'

'What? You thought that I will mad at you for this?' His dad said with a smile. Then Donghyuck just nodded his head speechless. After that, his parents sat on the couch and his dad gestured them to sit down. Donghyuck boldly held Mark's hand in front of them and sat on the couch.

'What's your name?' His dad asked.

'Hello, my name is Mark Lee and I'm from Canada.' Mark bowed to them politely.

'Oh, a foreigner! Damn, you're so lucky, sweetie.' His mom said excitedly and his dad looked at his wife unamusingly.

'Sorry about my wife, she tends to be like that. She always got excited about little things.' Then Mark chuckled.

'How long have you guys been together?' His dad continues.

'About few month I guess?'

'Yeah, we've been together since few days after the school break.' Donghyuck said.

'Oh, I assume that you're the new student of my son's school right?'

'Yeah, that's right.'

'I'm so impressed that you guys could get along with each other in a short time. That's what fate called.' Then Mark chuckled at his words and nodded his head.
