Pokémon Island: The calmest place on Earth. Or...thought to be. People still fought battles with Pokémon as always, but most of the Pokémon...weren't always Pokémon.
"Ugh, Jeremiah, are we almost there? These plants are annoying me. Plus, the Grass Pokémon are getting more common the further we go." Sarah said. "No, Sarah. We have to find it!" Jeremiah urged her. Sarah pushed away yet another Grass Pokémon. They were on a quest to find the artifact many people have talked about. "AGH!" Sarah groaned, tripping over a Treecko. A bunch of Grass Pokémon gathered around her. "There's something wrong here..." Sarah said, looking at the Pokémon. "Get up, we're still trying to find it, Sarah!" Jeremiah said, getting her up. "Sorry, it's just...they looked like they were trying to warn us." Sarah said, looking back at the circle the Grass types had made around her. "Warn us about what, Sarah? Oh no, a Sceptile! Ahh, we're going to die!" Jeremiah mocked. Sarah punched him in the shoulder. "Shut up."
"Uhh, are you sure about this? That cave doesn't look...safe..." Sarah said, looking down the cave. Jeremiah pushed her down. "Don't forget your Max Repel!" Jeremiah said, throwing down a bag of Max Repels. It hit her and knocked her back down to the floor. "I'm just going to wait up here while you...explore." Jeremiah said. Sarah groaned and walked further down the cave.
"Can't believe Jeremiah left me down here...by myself..." Sarah said, looking around the damp, empty cave with her flashlight. The flashlight flickered. "Come on, you stupid thing...Ah, there we go." She said, managing to get it back on. "Now, what am I supposed to find here?" At that moment, Sarah activated a booby trap, which she narrowly avoided. "Ha, screw you, you dumb traps!" She mocked. "Great. Now I sound like Jeremiah."
"We got her in there. Activate the second phase." Jeremiah said over radio.
A stone landed in front of her feet. "Oh, what is this...thing?" She picked it up. "A grass stone...who would leave a grass stone here, conveniently in a jungle cave? I wonder..." Sarah said, looking around. She shoved the grass stone in her pocket and continued walking.
While continuing to walk down the path but finding nothing, she started to get tired and sat down. "Augh...I'm never going to find anything here." Sarah groaned. The grass stone poked her leg. "AH! You dumb stone!" She yelled, throwing the stone into the water across from her. "Jeez...how would a stone do that?" She laid her flashlight down in such a way that she could see herself like she was outside in the sun. "I guess now I'll wait for Jeremiah to...hmm, that's weird...why is my skin...green..." She looked at her hands. She watched as her fingers merged from five fingers to three on both hands. "W-WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" She cried out. "SOMEBODY!! HELP!! PLEASE!!" She yelled for anyone. But nobody answered her. "JEREMIAH!!"
She felt herself shrink a little. She was 5 feet 7 inches tall. But she felt like 2 feet now. She got out of her clothes, as they were too big for her. "SOMEONE!!" She yelled again. She watched her head extend outwards into a point at the end. A tail grew from her back, with a leaf-like shape at the end. She realized what was happening: she was becoming a Snivy! "SOMEONE, HELP!! PLEASE!!" She still screamed. "SOMEONE!!!"
About 2 years later...
"Hey, you heard of that woman, Sarah, who disappeared long ago?" Mike asked his oldest brother, Jonathan. "Uh, yeah, why?" Jonathan replied, not even looking up.
Mike, the youngest of the three brothers, is blonde, 10 years old, nearing 4 feet in size, and he's the funniest of the family. Jonathan has black hair, is blind in his left eye from an accident at birth, 17 years old, about to be 5' 7'', and he's the most serious of the family. The middle brother, Samuel, has brown hair, is 13 years old, is 5' 1'', and is said to be the tallest person in the family in 5 years. His personality points more towards Mike's side instead of Jonathan's.
"Um, just curious...she's been missing for...um...2 years now." Mike responded. "Maybe she became a hoarder!" Mike joked. "Hey, maybe you should think about how you're gonna be training. You get your starter tomorrow, you know." Jonathan told Mike. Someone rang the doorbell. "I'll get it!" Mike said. It was his other brother, Samuel. "Hey, Mike!" Samuel said happily. Jonathan got off the chair and sighed. "I'm going to my room..." He said, heading upstairs.
It was the first day of school, and Mike was excited. Today was the day he got his starter Pokémon. He stepped into his classroom, and noticed everyone wasn't happy. Everyone was nervous. "Instead of getting your Pokémon...you'll become Pokémon." The "teacher" told Mike. "But, you get to choose. I mean, we're not evil. Okay, not THAT evil. You all get 15 minutes to choose the Pokémon you want, and then we'll begin." Mike chose a Pikachu. He sighed, staring at the Pikachu. Mike watched after the 15 minutes were up as a kid was taken to a small chamber, and then slowly but painfully turned into a Bulbasaur. He watched sadly, as the kid wasn't enjoying it either, because of the obvious pain. It seemed like forever before it was his turn. Either that or it had gone too fast.
He was placed in the chamber. He chose Pikachu. They took a piece of DNA from the Pikachu, and inserted it into the chamber. A gas sprayed out onto Mike. He was scared. All of a sudden, he felt a tail rip from the back of his pants. It looked sort of like a lightning bolt the more he looked at it. He took his clothes off, and watched as his toes merged into 3 on each feet and his skin became yellow mostly, and black on some spots. His ears grew long and pointy and moved to the top of his head, black on the top of the ears. He felt himself shrink, and after that, the transformation was complete.
Mike stepped, or rather, fell, out of the chamber and sat by the other complete transformation kids. What was he going to tell his parents and brothers when he got home? At least he could still speak like a human. But he had to hide it. He decided to sneak in at night into his bedroom.
A Note By Me: I know barely anything about Pokémon except for the Pokémon, of course. Hopefully I didn't do bad with this chapter. I looked up the Pokémon for help with the transformations. :P
