Quentin ran as far as he could from the town. Paul, Jonathan, Mike, and Samuel had realized that, since he hadn't come out in a while, the same thing was going to happen. Except, of course, a different Pokémon, which happened to be Leafeon. Sally was like a sniper; she shot all of the arrows, and, if people didn't move, it would've hit them. She wasn't good at moving targets, but she would learn.
"2 years and I'm finally going back to my home." Sarah sighed, staring at Kiovanta ahead of her. She had sat on the outskirts of the forest for 10 minutes now, doing nothing. "I need to go there. I can't just stay here." She said, getting up. Sarah walked towards Kiovanta, finally being safe from Jeremiah.
Evan was walking home from a restaurant. He wasn't really known, but he was great at fighting. People would never learn. As if right on cue, a group of men walked out from behind an alleyway. "What's the problem, guys?" Evan asked calmly. "Your money. Give it. Now." The leader said. "Or else...?" Evan said, obviously hearing a similar phrase before. "Or else I'll shoot you." The man held up a gun in his right hand, pointed at Evan. Evan smiled. "What's amusing to you?" A man behind the leader asked. "The fact that you're going to fail." Evan said. The leader shot the gun, but Evan quickly dodged. "Well, that starts it then, doesn't it?" Evan asked. "It does." The leader said, grinning evilly.
Evan walked up to the second man, and held his arm. "What are you...AAGHH!" He screamed as his arm was broken by Evan. He held his arm in pain. "How...did you...?" The leader asked, interrupting himself to run at Evan. Evan flipped over him, grabbed his head, and threw him into the brick wall behind the leader. The leader fell to the floor, unconscious. "I'm going, and then we're getting out of here!" The third man yelled, looking at Evan nervously. He ran at Evan, but Evan easily dodged the attack. "You..." The man said, before Evan grabbed a loose brick and threw it at the man's face, knocking him unconscious. The second and fourth man ran off. Evan smiled. Yet another battle, and he was victorious. He continued walking towards home.
Mewtwo grinned. "Perfect subject." She said, looking at Evan. "What should he be, though? A weak Pokémon...or a strong one?" Mewtwo looked over at Sally. "I know..." She said. "Sally. Go find Evan and hit him. I've altered the arrows slightly." Mewtwo ordered. Sally nodded and left.
Evan was almost home now. It had been a few minutes since the last incident, and nothing had happened. Evan, not realizing it until he made contact, was hit with an arrow instantly. He grunted as he hit the concrete, the streets empty around this time. He put his hand on the ground, pushing downwards to force himself up. (Quick AN: Intense gravity moment.) Evan looked around. There was nobody around. He took the arrow out, blood hitting the ground. Evan, being in many fights, was used to blood, so he didn't mind it. He continued walking, like nothing happened.
Quentin had ran so long, he was lost. "Where the heck am I?" He mumbled. He looked around for help, and saw a Dratini and Axew walking around in the forest. He noticed something familiar about them. The Axew held two bags..John and Dan's packs. The Axew noticed him. Quentin ran off.
"Did you see that Leafeon?" John asked Dan. "No, why?" Dan asked ahead of John. "It's just...nevermind. Let's keep going." John said, not remembering what he was gonna say. He sighed as he looked to the left of him, only to see more trees. "Are you sure we're going the right way?" John asked after a moment of silence. "I don't know..." Dan mumbled.
Evan saw his home ahead of him. His vision got blurry. "No...ugh, what's happening?!" He yelled. He swung his fist in the air, since he felt like he was being attacked. He sighed, got into his home, and locked the door. Evan sat on his bed. He looked at the river that flowed into Halloween Woods. He felt like he needed to swim in there. He ran out of his house and jumped in, not even being moved by the waves. That's when the physical changes began.
