WARNING. MAY BE KIND OF GORY AT ONE PART.

"Samuel? You still there?" Mike asked. "Samuel is not here right now. Please call back after the beep." Samuel replied. Mike patiently waited. "There's no beep, is there?" Mike said. "Ugh, fine, what do you want?" Samuel asked. "I just want to know, why haven't you come outside yet? It's been about an hour and I still struggle with these dumb tiny feet." Mike said. "I'm never coming out of--AGH!!" Samuel said before hitting a wall. He hit the door and knocked Mike backwards. "I'll be...down soon..." Samuel said.

"Samuel? Are you going to come out?" Mike asked. "Uhh...are you sure?" Samuel asked. "Yes, I am." "No, you're...um...ah, I lost it." Samuel hit the ground once again. "What are you doing in there?!" Mike asked. "Yoga! I'm doing yoga." Samuel lied, trying to open the window. "I hear a window in there. What are you doing?!? It's not yoga..." Mike said.

Jonathan looked at the window by the kitchen table to see an Arcanine hop down and shake the house. "What the..." Jonathan walked up to the window as the Arcanine ran away. "Hey, Mike, did you know an Arcanine was in or on top of our house?" Jonathan asked Mike when he struggled to come downstairs. "Um...what?!" Mike hopped through the window Jonathan opened. He barely avoided the window and part of the wall that Samuel had broken to get out. "Oh, now we have to catch him." Mike sighed.

1 year earlier...

Italicized text STILL means telepathic speech.

"Sir, I've returned. How's the progress?" Jeremiah asked. "You'll be our lab rat." The boss said. "Um...can't you use someone else?" Jeremiah asked. "Just put this on." The boss threw a gold necklace at Jeremiah. "Um, okay..." Jeremiah said, putting it on. "What does it do?" "You'll see." The boss chuckled. "Now, go home, Jeremiah."

"This dumb necklace doesn't do anything!" Jeremiah moaned. As soon as he got home, he noticed the changes. "WINGS?!" He yelled. "What the...hopefully nothing else happens."

As he was getting ready for bed, a stinger ripped his pants open. "Oh no...I'm becoming a Beedrill, aren't I?" He sighed and took his clothes off. There were 2 black stripes on his lower body. His arms and legs got skinnier, and both hands became blades. Two antennae popped out from his head. He watched his body change shape and his head also changed, along with eyes, which turned completely red. The transformation was completed.

"Haha, seems like it's a success." The boss said. "Now, that will be a minor setback for the loss of one necklace...or we could re-use it. It seems to have changed color to purple. I'll re-use it soon."

Back to present...

"Samuel? Come on!" Mike yelled. Jonathan picked him up. "What are you--AGH!" Mike groaned. "Do you keep having to put me in this giant...pocket thing?" "Yes, because it'll keep you safe, duh." Jonathan told Mike. "SAMUEL!!" Jonathan yelled. "COME ON, SAMUEL!! COME OUT!!"

Samuel sat behind a building, possibly a house. "Can't believe I ran...I'm so stupid..." Samuel told himself. "Samuel?" Samuel heard from behind him. "AH! Oliver?" Samuel said, looking at Oliver. "Yeah. The town hates me because an Eevee can't become an Umbreon on it's own..." Oliver sighed. "I can understand that. A Growlithe can't evolve to an Arcanine on its own either. It needs a fire stone." "Maybe people will figure it out?" Oliver asked Samuel. "Hopefully." Samuel replied, sighing. "I should go back home now..." "Be careful, Samuel." Oliver said. "I will." Samuel replied, carefully leaving the space they were at.

"Ugh, maybe we should just give up. He's not coming ho--" Mike said, as Jonathan opened the front door to see an Arcanine. "Hi. I'm back." Samuel said. "Well, um, okay...I wasn't...uh...well..." Mike stuttered a lot. Mike fell onto the floor and sat up. "I have no idea what to say." "I'll go into my room...if I can get inside." Samuel sighed. Jonathan heard a door get bashed open. "Good enough!" Samuel yelled.
