Pokémon Island

The Reveal

2.5 years earlier...

The lab experiment went wrong. Amy could hear Ryan and Sophia talking in the bunker. The gas was clearing. Amy jumped out the window and ran. She wasn't used to her new form, but she would have to get used to it.

"Here, take a gas mask so we can get in." Sophia said, handing him a gas mask. She put one on, too. Ryan put his on, and they opened the door.

Amy could hear them, even though she was far from the lab, even now. "What's happening?" She asked herself. She looked at her hands. "People should learn." She mumbled. Amy smiled. "It's time to make them learn." She said.

2.5 years later...

"So many people...this is good..." Mewtwo said, smiling. "You haven't been this happy for a while..." Sally commented. "Yeah, well...I have something to be happy about now." Mewtwo replied. "Hopefully nothing can mess this up."

"...cure developing in the Kanto region for what scientists call the "Mass Transformation" on Pokémon Island. If this cure isn't developed soon, this problem will envelop the whole island. So far, it's only gotten to Kiovanta and Saint Kerf, but it's only a matter of time before--" The news reporter said, before Xavier turned it off. "We need to get there." He said. Mary and Tina nodded. "But how? We don't have a ship or anything." Mary said. "I...might've bought one." Tina said. "When?" Mary asked. "A...few years ago. Never used it. Brand new condition." "Then, let's go!" Mary yelled. "We should bring...others." Xavier said, stopping Mary. "Who?" Tina asked. "The other Pokémen in Kiovanta, of course!" He replied. "Yeah, but...who would want to go?" Tina asked. "We'll go see." Xavier said, dragging Mary out the door. Tina followed. 

"So much has happened just at Saint Kerf..." Mike mumbled. "Is that kid Zachary okay?" Samuel asked. "I think. He just got knocked unconscious." Jonathan replied. "I heard a cure is coming to Kanto eventually. So that means we have to travel all the way to Kanto just to get a cure." "It's going to be worth it, Jonathan." Samuel said. "But what if some people don't want the cure?" Mike suggested. "Are you...are you saying you want to stay as a Pokémon?" Jonathan asked. "Well, not me, but, well...uh...I mean...um...well...I..." Mike said, trying to say what he needed to. "Others?" "What do you mean others?" Samuel asked. "Like, uh...I mean...other Pokémen?" Mike said, still stuttering. "Some people...might've been Pokémen for...uh...years, and they...um...got used to it?" "Whatever. I'm still wanting that cure." Samuel said.

Zachary grunted as he slowly woke up. He remembered what happened; being hit with an arrow, and getting knocked unconscious when he hit a car. Zachary saw that he had become a Pokémon, and sighed. He walked back home, hoping that Tom or Jim would know where he was.

"Sally, you set the bombs?" Amy, the Mewtwo, asked. "Yeah, but...I don't understand why you do this. Amy, it's been over 2 years since...the incident. I was your best friend, and...your first test. Why are you doing this? To yourself and me?" Sally asked. Amy sighed. "It's because the people need to know what it's like. I got lucky during the incident. But I started hiding from trainers. They kept trying to catch me." She answered. Sally stared at the wall for a moment. "The...the bombs have been set." She muttered. "Good. Let's do this when it opens." Amy replied.

"Victor? Come on, we'll be late." Michael said. "Sorry, I got distracted. Let's go!" Victor replied happily, getting off the couch. They ran there, though Michael was old enough to drive then. He just didn't feel like it. "Victor! Go faster!" Michael joked. Victor skidded to a stop when he reached the store, and fell onto the ground. "Oh, jeez, are you okay?" Michael asked. "Yeah, I'm alright." Victor said, chuckling a bit. They both chuckled for a bit longer. "Let's go inside." Victor said after about a minute. Michael nodded, smiling.
