*Beep beep beep* "Oh hell no." I gruffly say to my alarm clock, "It can't be time to get up already..." I roll out of bed, falling on the floor in a heap. Then I remembered today was my date with Lindon, I practically shot into the bathroom to get ready.
The day went by in a blur, I could honestly say that I don't remember a damn thing. I looked at the clock, "I can make it home to change really fast..." I don't even wait for my mom to drive me home, I rush out and all the way home. Right to my closet I went, 'Shit...what to wear.' Nothing seemed cute enough for my date...I wanted to look cute but not desperate. I grab a t-shirt, leggings, a mini skirt, my studded belt and my knee high converse. I look at my hair in the bathroom...I wonder what would happen if I let my hair go natural instead of always dyed to look normal. I zone out for a split second, but snap out of it and just brush my hair. I run upstairs and see that its 5:58pm. "Oh shit! Mom?"
"What is it?"
"Can I get a ride to the library, I'm studying with Lindon and I told him I'd be there by six..." I frantically blurt out.
"Suurree stuudying." She smirks at me.
"MOM!" I give her a begging look.
"Get in the car, I just need to grab my purse and keys."
I rush out to the car, buckle quickly and bounce in my seat nervously. It takes us only three minutes to get there, but I was still late. Damnit. "Thanks Mom." I shout as I shut the door and run inside. I scurry over to where Lindon is waiting for me, "I'm soo sorry I'm late." I set down my purse, "I couldn't figure out what to wear" I was so nervous that I actually admitted that, 'Ugh stupid Deno!' I might as well go with the flow, "Do you think I did okay?"
He nods, his blue hair bounces gently around his perfect face. "Yes, but I don't see the need to dress up just to go to the library." My face lit up at the yes part, but settled to content with what he said. I knew he wouldn't get that I was dressing up for him.
Over the next two hours we studied hard, but then the library intercom sounded. "Attention, the library is now closed. Please check out what ever you need and leave the building."
I panic, 'No no no....just a little longer with him.' He looks over at me and I blurted out, "I-I...I need more help." I blush, 'Oh God no...I did NOT just say that.' Then to make it worse I spew out, "I won't go home until I feel okay for the tests." I fold my arms across my chest, on the inside I'm dying but one the outside I had to play it cool.
"We will continue at my house then." My heart skipped a beat, h-he is going to take me to his house. We walk there, which surprisingly enough was only 5 blocks away. I loved how much taller Lindon was than I, I bet if I hugged him my head would fit perfectly on his chest. I started to daydream, until we got to his front door. I followed him through a living room, then up some stairs, into a hallway, and into Lindon's room. I took one step in and blushed, I was actually in Lindon's room. He closed the door behind us, and I about had a heart attack. His room was adorably neat, I take a good look around the room and try to take note of everything.
Lindon sets his things on a small table in the center of his room, then takes a seat on the small pillows surrounding it. He motions for me to do the same, and I scurry to do so. I watch him closely as he pulls out his textbooks, his eyes light up the most at the Chemistry one. I let out a small smile, loving that subject as well. A small strand of his sexy blue hair dances across his glasses and it begins to drive me nuts! If only I wasn't so worried about him getting mad at me for fixing it.
"Is there something on my face?" I meet his innocent eyes with mine, crap...caught staring.
"O-oh um, no there isn't." Blood rushes to my cheeks.
