Nicki: "Mom, I'm literally going to be 18 next week why you tripping? It's just a party."
Carol: "Okay? And I just said no."
Sighing I went up the stairs and took a shower I was going to this party whether she liked it or not. Calling my girls, Cherry and diamond they agreed to pick me up so we could go to the party together.
Once I got out the shower I lotioned up my legs. Crawling into my best thong and bra I climbed into my bed. At 11:00 she came in to say goodnight like every night. Giving it 30 minutes, I popped up getting dressed. Doing my makeup , I smiled slipping on a cute sparkly jumper, with my silver MK watch. Making sure my hair was bone straight, I got a text from cherry. They were outside, putting my sparkly heels in one hand and clutch in the other.
I looked over at my wig and pillows under the cover one last time . It would have to do, peeking out the door, her room was downstairs so I had to be really quiet. Tip toeing down the stairs, one creeked making my heart stop. Pausing I made sure I didn't hear the door . Finally I made it down the steps. Opening a window in the dining room I climbed out because I knew the door would make a loud sound.
Successfully sneaking out I ran to Cherry's red Honda Accord. I smiled seeing them but also relived that I actually made it.
Cherry: "Damn Wendy Wu, climbing out of windows and shit."
Diamond: "I was wondering how you convinced your mom to let you go , I see now"
They laughed driving off to Decatur
Nicki: "I'm tired of being in that house man, it's just a party. A little fun never hurt nobody."
Cherry: "She just care about your safety and shit"
Diamond: "Fuck that the girl damn near grown."
Going to the hood there was a house with cars parked on the street and people outside smoking. Nicki instantly figured out why her mom didn't want her to come.
Cherry: "Look , don't go nowhere with nobody."
Diamond: "Don't drink nothing you don't see being poured"
Cherry: "If you leave your drink, or sit it down while you doing something. Don't go back and drink it."
Diamond: "Niggas gone grab on you, just twerk and have fun. Don't believe none of that shit they be whispering."
Cherry: "Other than that have fun"
She flashed a quick smile but my stomach was in knots. I was a naturally shy person anyway so this was all new to me.
Getting out the car I put on my heels making me almost as tall as them. Walking in the men that were smoking outside started hollering at us.
???: "Aye ma with that fat ass!"
???: "Lil red why you walking so fast!"
Opening the door it was packed and smelled like sweat. There were some speakers blasting from the corner of the room. There was a lot of grinding I couldn't hear myself think. Looking up I noticed cherry and diamond had both disappeared into the crowd.
