Meek

Driving down Moreland Dr. in my black on black wraith I felt bad seeing all the homeless people on the side of the street. I had to stay focused though, I had a show at Lakewood in an hour. I just came to get some hot wings from down here. Seeing a small body wrapped  in a spongebob blanket made me stop. Parking on the side of the road, I noticed all she had with her was a wonder woman backpack with a cape on it.

Meek: "How old is she?"

I asked myself, squatting down in front of her I shook her in efforts to try to wake her up. After awhile I simply picked her up and put her in the backseat of my car. In hopes I wouldn't catch a charge over trying to do a good deed.

Finally getting to Lakewood I had 30 minutes to get inside and get dressed, no big deal. Pulling around to the backstage entrance I parked. Picking the girl up she was shaking in her sleep like she was having a nightmare. Out of nowhere she clung to my shirt and calmed down. Going inside I heard people whispering wondering who she was.

Chino: "Who's this man?"

Meek : "Ummmm you know, mind ya business . Where Sade?"

Chino : "Well excuse me, she in your dressing room with them wack ass clothes."

Nodding I went to the back and finally saw my dressing room I saw Sade pacing back and  forth

Meek : "I know , I know and I'm sorry can we skip the speech today?"

Sade: "Whatever, I dont even have time for it today.

She walked over to the rack of clothes pulling things off quickly. As I laid the girl I found on the couch. Soon as I did I took my clothes off and Sade shoved some more in my hands.

Meek: "This official"

Before she could respond there was a loud knock at the door. The stage manger was telling me they were ready for me.

Sade: "Showtime "

Meek: "Watch her for me please"

Sade: "Boy, I ain't no babysitter. Grown sad woman you carrying around."

Meek: "Just do it"

Sade: "My momma ain't name me Nike"

Throwing my hands up annoyed, I got in position to get on stage. I was doing a guest appearance for my young bul, skola. Intro started playing and the crowd started screaming before I hit the stage. I heard them singing it word from word. Until the bear dropped and I ran on stage and smoke cannons started spraying. Fog covered my feet.

Meek: "HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE!"

The crowd started jumping it felt good to see his city rocking with me. I loved doing smaller shows. It was more intimate, people were so turnt. After four songs, I left and thanked the crowd. Sade was sitting in the room on her phone and the girl started shaking and moving around in her sleep again.
