Since wala naman akong gagawin ngayon, I took her to the nearest mall.
“OMG! Dairy man! Buy me one, please?” Hayy! This girl! Kanina two slices of cake, nagshawarma na rin siya, tapos ngayon ice cream?
I frowned with gritted teeth, “Ano?! Alam mo naman na nagtitipid ako ngayon diba? Look,” while letting her see the 500 peso bill on my hand. “You almost ate my 1k.”
She just stood soundless while looking at the stall. WTF. Does she even care?! Lumapit ako sakanya.
“Ano?” She asked.
“Wala, di ba nagpapasama ka sakin?”
“Tapos?” And she looked again at the stall.
WHAT NOW?! This! ARGHHHHHH!
“Two ice creams please.” I held out my remaining money to the seller. Wala nanaman akong magawa.
She was surprised! I knew it! Gusto niya lang ng ice cream. Nakakainis. Kaya ayaw ko ng girlfriend eh, masyadong magastos and all. Darn.
“Flavor?” The ice cream seller asked.
“That one,” she pointed. Strawberry? Eeeeew! HELL NO!
“Double dutch.” I smiled to the ice cream seller. Napatingin ako sa kanya and she looks very disappointed. HAHAHAHAHA.
“Oh ayan na ice cream mo.” Inabot ko sa kanya. Bigla bigla kong nahawakan kamay niya. I hate this. So awkward. I guess you know this feeling, right?
“Are you contented now?!” I asked while eating my ice cream. “Oh, nabawasan nanaman ng 100 pera ko.” Tapos sumubo ako ulit sa ice cream.
She smiled suddenly, “A bit.” And she’s about to start eating hers. Hay.
Time check: 1:02pm
Ang bilis ng oras. Di ko man lang napansin. AISH. Medyo matagal-tagal na rin kaming naglalakad sa mall. My feet ache. WTF. What do I do?
“Di ka pa ba pagod?” I asked.
She smiled. “Hindi pa naman.”
I continued walking right next to her, “wala kang balak?”
“Umuwi? Huwag muna.”
I chuckled, “No, no, I mean wala kabang balak magpahinga or just even sit on that place?” Tinuro ko yung bench sa ilalim ng tree.
She glared and took 5 seconds to respond. “Okay, thought you’re going to drag me again.”
“No.” I said at umupo na. “Just 5 minutes okay?” I stretched my arms and smiled.
“Take your time.” She gracefully sat beside me. I nodded and closed my eyes.
“Dude! Wake up!” Louie pinched my arm. So annoying! “Well, well, well, Dean Jung sleeping by himself on a bench under the tree in a mall?!”
I stood and slicked my hair with my confidence. “G*go! May kasama ako.” I roamed my sight.
Freaking hell! May kasama nga ako. Pero wala siya! SH*T! Bakit ba ako nakatulog?!
“Kasama?” He sarcastically asked. “Looks like she’s been bored being with you.”
“You saw her?!” With a big question on my head.
“WOAH! Don’t tell me may kasama ka nga!” He roared with amusement. “Keep it up!” And made a thumbs-up.
Tinapik ko siya ng malakas. “T*ng*na mo, umalis ka na nga.” And we laughed it off. Tumingin ako sa paligid pero wala siya.
