Chapter 4

Jughead's POV

What was happening?

Where was a falling from?

Where would I land?

My eyes stared into the complete darkness that surrounded me.

I came to a stop.

I tried reaching for a floor underneath me but there was nothing except for air.

Suddenly out of nowhere a light came and I swam towards it.

I found myself at a door which I quickly opened to reveal a blonde girl with a belly in a grey room.

I knew this girl. But from where?

Where was her family?

I knew she was pregnant so where were her parents.

Why was she here alone?

It hit me.

This was Betty Cooper.

My Betty Cooper.

Who had done this to her?

I woman suddenly came in from the door.

"Miss Cooper, your mother is here." the woman said with a voice full of greed.

Betty nodded letting her mother come in.

"Hello mother! How are you today?" Betty asked.

Why and how was she so calm?

She was different.

"I have news Betty. Terrible news. Jughead almost commits suicide everyday. And everyday that passes he gets worst. He stared to smoke. He started drinking. He has more and more piercings everyday. And I think it is because of you. And I think that if I were you I could never live with myself after he would kill himself. So I'm thinking why not leave the sisters for some time and go to him and explain everything. "she said with concern.

Tears fell down Betty's cheeks as she responded, "Don't you get it mother? I cannot show myself like this! Until I have not given birth to this baby I am not leaving the sisters."

"Is this is because you're scared? You're scared that he will want to you give the baby away, don't you? Jughead isn't like that we both know it, Betty!!! "

"Mother you don't get it nor will you ever!", she screamed, "Now please if you go i will go on with my daily activities" she said this with a lower voice.

"Fine just don't come to me when it happens cause I will only tell you I told you so" she said leaving Betty in the room crying her eyes out.

I started falling again into pure darkness.
