Chapter 11

Jughead's POV

She looked at me.

I wanted to say something but my mouth was sealed shut.

I wanted to get up and hug her and kiss her.

But I couldn't move my legs or arms.

There was a little girl in her arms.

The little girl had black hair and green eyes. She looked at me and giggled.

Her smile was beautiful.

And then Betty broke the silence.

"Jughead, this is your daughter. Her name is Juliet. Do you want to hold her?" she said.

I tried nodding but couldn't.

"Blink once if yes, twice for no." she said.

I blinked once.

And she put Juliet on my chest but I couldn't feel her. I couldn't feel anything.

"Jughead, you're probably wondering what happened to you or me. Blink once if you want to know about what happened to you first and twice if you want to know what happened to me."

I blinked twice.

I wanted to know everything of what had happened. Everything.

But I already knew most of it.

She started talking.

Telling me about how she felt when she left me, when she got to the sisters, why she had gone, when she gave birth to Juliet,how much she thought Juliet reminded her if me, how when she came back she looked for me, about how she was feeling when she found me half dead, how she never left my side for the one week, how she wanted to leave Riverdale because she didn't want to see me die, how she came back to see me.

And then she stopped.

That was it.

That was the whole story.

That was what I wanted ever since she had left.

An explanation to everything.

I looked down to see Juliet had fallen asleep.

She was beautiful.

That was probably because Betty was the mother.

But still there was some explaining left to do.

What happened to me?

"Jughead after 30 minutes I left your heart stopped beating for 5 minutes. This caused your body to paralyse completely. They are trying to find out how to fix it but they can't promise us that you'll be fine after this."

And just like that it all came crashing down.
