I Can't Anymore... And You Know It

Chapter 6

A/N - Sorry I haven't updated. I just finished writing Draco Malfoy and the Basilisks Venom which I uploaded yesterday and today. Check it out, but here you guys go:

Percy's Pov

"So you're Peter Parker?" I asked the kid that came to return my wallet. We were sitting on my bed and I was looking through my wallet.

"I-I didn't steal anything!?" he blurted out. I chuckled and nodded. He looked about 15, the same age as Nico and Leo. I smiled and pulled him in for a side hug, he gulped visibly which made me snicker.

"Don't worry! I'm not going to kill you or anything... or you know..." I snickered. He sighed and nudged my grip of him, I raised a brow but shrugged. It was nice to have some teenagers that didn't necessarily know about my past.

"So-so um, you were at the Stark Tower?" he asked. I nodded and moved closer to his face getting right up in his business.

"So where you?" I asked. He stood up and straightened out his t-shirt that had some star wars reference. I shrugged and lay on my bed.

"I, un, I'm Tony Stark's intern." He stuttered. I laughed and thought for a second.

"Oh, yeah... I heard about you. Peter Parker, Midtown School of Science, super smart and all. Heard you boast about that internship a lot?" I teased. His face grew red and he quickly shook his head.

"NO!" he shouted, I looked at him with a little smirk. He stutters a lot, more than necessary, he's faking it. He's scared of me; probably cause I was in Stark Tower's fighting my 'ex' but there's something else, like he knows more. There were little grooves on the bridge of his nose, he owns glasses. He can see without them, but he definitely needed them before, maybe he got laser eye surgery? But he likes to wear them, on the bridge of his nose... studies a lot. Hair parted like he's tried to make an impression before he knocked on our door, he definitely wants to make a good impression. He's wearing a Star Wars shirt... could be a fan... but a long sleeve flannel, he's hiding. Shy. Run down jeans, that covers everything. No rips, maybe he just doesn't like that, we're not allowed to have shoes on in my mums apartment so he had to take his shoes off. He's wearing socks even though I have a nice fluffy carpet. Maybe he hates feet like I do. I looked down at my socks and smiled, I feel like Sherlock.

"You can put your bag down you know? relax I'm not going to bite your head off." I laughed. He placed his bag on my spinney chair but sat close to it, like he was hiding something in his bag. "So you go to Midtown High School?" I asked already knowing the answer. He nodded and started to get more comfortable... good.

"It's nice, what about you?" he asked.

"I'm studying, I'm home schooled, guess that happens after you get kicked out of 6-10 schools." Peter's eyes had widened but I was being serious. "What do you like to do for fun?" I asked.

He shrugged and thought for a second, "I like to read-"

"I'm Dyslexic,"

"Oh well I like to sometimes just sit and relax, calm down from the busy world, you know?"

"I'd love too but I never spare a second, I'm a busy person Peter,"

He frowned but shrugged, "You can always make time."

"Not me."

"Even you," I raised a brow. This kid does like getting his own way doesn't he? "Okay, here." he handed me a slip of paper with a number on it.

"Oh I'm flattered but I don't swing that way," I teased. Peter blushed and laughed.

"Call me, and we can hang out. I may swing that way but you're not my type. Bye Percy!" he chuckled at my shocked expression, grabbed his backpack and walked out the door.

"WAIT! PETER COME BACK!!" I ran out the door but he was gone, wow... "What does he mean I'm not his type? WHY AM I NEVER ANYONE'S TYPE?" I groaned and walked over to the door. I pushed the door but it wouldn't open I rattled the little lock sign and sighed. "MUMMMMMMMMMMM!!!"
