*10 years later*

ARIANNAS POV

I made sure the door was locked as I stepped inside and threw my jacket off. Yes, I'm a 28 year old women who can't even be bothered to hang up her jacket. "Hey love" I said standing behind Eric. "Oh, hey babe." I smiled back. After brads death I promised myself that I'd move on, I knew he would want me to be happy again. It was hard but 3 years after his passing I met Eric. He's amazing...handsome, smart, caring, romantic and hilarious. But, really deep down I knew he couldn't beat brad...

"How was work?" He asked hugging me. "Same old same old, you?" He sighed. "Not too good..." I pouted at him. "How come babe?" I questioned rubbing the nape of his neck. "Well, Connor is coming out.." Oh, I forgot he's a policeman at the jail Connor is imprisoned at. "What?!" Tears streamed down my face. I sunk down as Eric kneeled down next to me. "Look, it's ok. You've got me to protect you." I looked up at his worried face. It was true, Eric was definetly going to protect me after what happened. We got up and he took me to the kitchen to get some food.

*later that evening*

Eric and I say on the sofa watching TV. I couldn't concentrate. The whole Connor thing had been bothering me for hours now. How could he be let out so soon?! He KILLED brad! There's no way he should be given a second chance at life after TAKING SOMEELSE'S! My head was so fogged up because of all the thoughts. I was on the verge of crying and I think Eric noticed. "Don't cry love, you're safe. Look maybe you just need some fresh air?" He said, standing up. Eric walked over to the window that was next to my side of the sofa. Then he say down again.

"Eric..I need to ask you something." He turned to me and stroked my cheek. "Sure...go ahead..." I sighed looking down then up again. "When exactly is Connor being let out?" Then all of a sudden the door bell rung. Great, moment-killer. I got up not wanting to bother Eric after all he's done for me tonight. I got to the door and opened it. My mouth opened. It was him. "Ari...the answer is tonight.."
