The whole room was quiet, just taking in what she said. Then, a ruckus burst out. Things went flying through the air, papers, rules, and naughty words.
"What the hell!?" A princess said.
"That's not possible!"
"This isn't happening..."
A older man, one I didn't recoginze and sitting next to me, said, "This is why we should have killed all of them stupid Spirit users..."
Those words got my attention more than most. There was no time to act, I jumped out of my seat and tackled the man to the floor.
"Guaridan Hathaway!" Kivora called me off of him, but her words didn't do much.
"Rose!" Lissa yelled, "What are you doing?"
"He threatened to kill every last Spirit user!" I said when the Guardians pulled me off of him. "In case you missed it, the soon-to-be Queen is a Spirt user!"
The old man looked stunned, and didn't know what to say. "I-I-I-"
"You thought no one would hear you, but news flash, I'm a mother, I hear more things if you try and hide them!"
Lissa seemed to believe me, and ordered, "Take him to prision for consparasy of treason and murder. A couple hours in a cell wont hurt Mr. Dashkov."

"Lissa, I'm sorry that I'm not sorry. He said he was going to kill you! What did you expect from me?"
"Nothing less," she smiled sadly at me, "but Mr. Dashkov has been a family friend for a long time."
"Why does that name sound familiar?" I thought about that name, "Did he do something to us?"
"Well, no, but his cousins did. Victor Dashkov? Remember him? Tried to kill me?" Lissa put a hand on her hip, pounting her lip too. She really hasn't changed, you thought.
"Victor... Dashkov..." The name struck a cord. "Oh my god! Victor Dashkov! Yeah, I remember him... Creepy old dude that wanted you for your gifts? Why is his cousin still here?"
Lissa shrugged, "I didn't see the point in punishing him for his cousins crime. Thought the apple fell a little far from a tree..."
"Apparently the whole damn tree was crupt... but hey, that won't happen again, I'm here, keeping you safe again..."
She smiled, "Thank god for that!"
I walked her back to her room, and opened the door to see that Christan was sitting on their bed, talking to a man that was by the window, looking out into the feild.
"Hey baby," Lissa walked and kissed Christan lightly on the lips and turned over to the man by the window. "Rose, I thought you'd like to reinstall that little friendship between-"
"Pish, posh, with the traditional greetings. Rose Hathaway could never forget me," the man at the window turned to face me, a smile instantaniously spreads across my lips.
"Oh my god!" I run into his arms, and his hands find my waist, lifting me off the ground, and spinning me around the room. "I haven't seen you in like forever!" I cried.
"I'm glad to know someone missed me," he smiled and kissed my cheek, "Little Dhampir."
"I have missed you!" I laughed, "Hello, Adrian."
